The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

I should play a bit again but I'd probably get annoyed with the "netcode" :S and be **** as I've not played in months - can't even remember what my keybinds do.

Netcode is fine on a decent server, there are some poorly specced ones with too many players out there though.

Ah that reminds me why I stopped playing - after the 60+Hz stuff went live too many of the UK servers were suffering from over-subscribed hosting :S

yeah, I'll try and make the effort tonight. Been about 8 weeks since I was last on and after tomorrow, off work for 2 weeks which includes being in Cape Verde for 8 days ;)

Haz I've promoted you in the platoon to "Founder" - I don't have it installed any more so no point me being the main person.

I tried another server before joining the TM one, TM was a bit better but still getting sporadic hit reg and moments where I had to hit reload button a few times before it had effect.

Surprised I was managing to be somewhere towards the top of the scoreboard as I was mostly spraying targets badly due to not having played in awhile.

Ah got you now. There's still plenty of people who have no idea what they are doing nearly 4 years after release. They think a gunner's seat is a free taxi pew pew service.
 
Quite hard to coordinate doing anything complex with the gunner seat without being on comms mind :S was a few times when I was trying to work out whether I should get out and rep you or sit in because you were going to move back to cover, etc. heh.

My loadout kind of sucked on Golmud as well - usually I try to get a few rockets off between repping, etc. but was mostly outside of effective RPG range.
 
I'd had a few beers, I'm not sure comms would have helped that much under the circumstances! ;)

You could use the SMAW if you're struggling with the RPG at range (Or even the MBT lowbob which seems to get used against me a lot).
