I was starting to get my mojo back again by the end of the last night. Hopefully back to smash mode this evening!

The golmud is so hard to fly for, I got some excuses so here goes:
squeeze was gunner !
strong tail wind
noob tank not reking the AA
they had strong jets
i had something in my eye,
my hand was hurting


Pick two of your choice :D

The only thing I struggle with on golmud is the enemy MAA - jets get ***** if I have a half decent gunner as well.

Strong tail wind might explain why sometimes I run into things namely the ground - every now and again I get a sudden complete loss of lift (maybe once every 10 games) which I think is a bug - with the attack chopper you are pretty much doomed if it happens but the LB has enough mobility to pull out at the last minute when it recovers.

thanks mate for backing me up !

Also, if you are going down and someone shoots you you loose 70% of your lift for a half a second. Just something I observed so even if its tank with a HMG adn you are diving to dodge fire you will loose lift

I've got tomorrow and Thursday off work so I should be about quite a bit (Although I'll be at the beer festival on Thursday night)
 
Poor snips will be shakin' by then :)

I played like 3 games with squeez earlier yesterday on Anarchy, and it was going well.
The only downside of anarchy is that it mixes up players in the end of round but I didn't get any packet loss or latency variations.

I used to play on their Lockers CQ server all the time, may have to give it a go as I'm getting packet loss on TM and its so frustrating...especially when gunning in a Tank/LAV as you can't friggin move!!

Yeah they don't like us having a squad on there much. ;)
I played a round of Dragon's teeth with squeeze on there, but I think you had gone by then.

Are you getting the packet loss symbol then? It seemed alright last night.
When was the last time you reset your router?, did me a world of good resetting mine yesterday. ;)

I get the latency variation Icon, that is related to server having different ping then client, I would not think it relates to router. I would say its server side issue. But its true they dont like squading up, works ok for 2-4 people tho as you can shift around. Anything more then 4 you might struggle with the balancing.

Yes its quite nice for a change to play lumpini gardens and other maps then the vanilla. I must have left just before you hopped in I was playing some more diablo :)
 
Also haz looks like 1070 has similar performance to 980Ti but they keep most of the info under covers for now, if the card is around 350 price and the SLI performance is 20% more then 1080 its worth going SLI but I dont think nvidia is going to shoot themselves in the foot again like 970 story.

Based solely on CUDA cores the 1070 should be 75% of the 1080 performance.
Early leaks suggest it has a higher base clock than the 1080 and is more like 80% without overclocking either. SLI performance *should* be 150% compared to a single 1080, but it's all about the price. If SLI 1070s cost £900, it's too much. Also we don't know how much the new SLI bridges will cost yet.

At £350 a card and £25 for an SLI bridge, I might be in, any more and it'll be too expensive as it will be in the same price/perf ratio as a 1080 with the niggles that SLI brings.
We will see..

Yes mate, early days now. Also still bit sceptical about the SLI support as some ppl say its magical some say its poop, I guess its dependant on the title, this AA games like bf support it ok I guess. Battlefield 1 may like that too
 
Finally unlocked the GOL Magnum and FY-JS to finish the sniper rifles.

Only one class of weapons left
