Better not come off mine then, i be on discord in a bit.
I just had to quit - 3-4 people in a row where I lit them up a good 2-3 seconds before they reacted and they still had 40-60 hp left after 6+ indicated hits when they killed me.
It was fine when I first joined (and again I don't think there was anyone pinging over about 80-90ms) as soon as more joined with higher pings it went downhill fast.
Servers have been pretty ropey for hit reg last couple of nights, and now login is down. Maybe DDOS or maybe they're updating the servers again.

It was absolutely useless for me tonight - several times hit other choppers scout on scout with both missiles and nothing happened at all, people just appearing out of nowhere (not spawning) a few times as well.
Trying to play to relax and now completely wound up by it.
EDIT: For awhile on Zavod I could see my sniper rounds as if in slow motions as well taking 2-3 seconds to cover less than 100m ranges :|
EDIT2: Seems like there was a bit of a DDOS (not related to EA/BF) at the time which was probably causing it.

Hit reg seemed to get better later on, but it was a mess for a large part of the night after I could finally log in.
I ended up raging on golmund, after losing the spawn race for a tank and a lav twice to this one guy, who then proceeded to try and vehicle snipe from far off any flags, and ignoring the artillery which promptly smashed him, so no flag, and no vehicle.
Third time I got the driver's seat of a tank, and he just wouldn't get out. Then eventually he'd get out and respawn on me. Eventually, lost the plot with him and took him on a tour or the uncap until he bottled it. Thankfully snips spawned on me then, but we'd lost too much time already by then.
That second server was funny. It was far too easy, especially flood zone. I'm sure that LB pilot who got the mvp switched to our team at the end to get the extra points.
Anyway good games in the end lads

Mate the LB pilot switched cos I have killed him like 7 times on zavod, he was fuming in a chat thinking I'm hacking...
I always choose different servers cos I think TM has got something broken. Mainly playing as infy I notice weird hitreg, and I have shot a chopper like 5 times in last week with a tank and I see the impact on the chopper but it no luck....so there is something massively wrong with the server.
I notice it probably the most on TM but the server is generally cheat free for the most part - but I don't find any of the UK servers being that much better - I'm fairly sure the dedicated boxes are oversubscribed. The german servers seem to have better consistency despite a higher ping though its still <=20ms which is pretty low but still nothing like the hit reg I get with pretty much any other non Dice game where it is usually like playing on LAN.
I don't know what's been going on with the TM server, but it's hitreg has definitely been dodgy over the last couple of weeks, but some of the time I've noticed it's happening when there's one or two US players on there too.
A lot of my TOWs have dusted on there recently (Seen it impact, target has not APS'd and yet no hit).
It's a shame as it's a well admin'd server with some good players on the whole.

Quick question.. my battlefield 4 folder now uses up 56Gb of disk space, and I'm very low on free space.. is there by any chance anything that could be removed without breaking the game.. for example, does it leave behind any logs or installers that can be removed ?
I really enjoyed it and still play it every now again.
The launch was stable when compared to BF4. They were too slow to get balancing issues fixed and they should have supported 60hz tick rate off the bat. There were also some other big launches around the same time which ultimately led to a huge decline in PC players numbers. The other issue was the launch price. Many saw it as a mod rather than a new game.
If they were smart they should have released it for half the price with no single player and no DLC paywall.
I'm currently playing Squad. There is no ranking system, no unlocks and a few guns and it's way more complex than battlefield ever way but not that difficult to pick up. There is modding support (in an alpha). This should be the future of gaming and what BF3 should have been.
AFAIK nothing can be freed - the full premium install takes up nearly 60GB with just the packed game data files alone.
Last time I played for me, TTK was far too low IMO, the hacker (commander) was too OP*, and I didn't like being forced to switch weapons between rounds as I hadn't unlocked every gun for both sides. It was fun in parts though.
*on one weekend with double XP, I managed to get to #10 in the UK for hacker score and got 2 MVP medals in the space of 2 weeks playing as the hacker.
Edit: gg's last night, although shanghai was rough, entire enemy team seemed to be focusing on us as we were the only squad trying to protect our backcaps.
