Right I need someone to jump on as commander tonight so that I can get 11 more UCAV kills!

Going to jump on for silk road now to get 2 more bomber ribbons.

2x AMD R9 270x's @1130 core 1420 Mem
Windows 8.1
i5 4670k @4.6ghz
Water cooled :D

I really need a bigger SSD for my game though, as I had no money in the black Friday deals :(

What really annoys me is that this is a new windows install, with updated drivers and everything new. :(

Any more idea's?

I can make it launch it 32 bit mode, but that runs at all low settings. God knows why the 64bit one does not work!

EDIT: Nailed it! It was Digital Rivertuner, turning on the 'Custom Direct 3D support on' worked a treat!

have you installed and updated punkbuster manually? if not download it here and update http://www.evenbalance.com/?page=pbsetup.php

Also, BF4 is a sucker for big overclocks on GPUS...try and just play a game dialling your GPU overclocks back 50mhz or even a 100mhz and try again. If it doesn't crash you know where you stand


Fun games tonight, mine whoring for that Ultimate Engineer assigment is frustrating but rewarding as when you get the kill. Also, had an epic sniper battle at the back of F with another guy towards the end of the zavod round. He headshotted me twice, so decided to go recon. Got 8 killstreak on him about 500 meters out with a bunch of headshots lol.

EDIT..JUST REMEMBERED, YOU SAID YOU FIXED IT IN TS DIDNT YOU...AND I MISSED YOUR EDIT AT THE BOTTOM LOL.

No. Your spec looks pretty good if you're talking the spec in your signature. You could go for a 1440p or ultrawide 21:9 monitor if you're looking to spend money but the CPU isn't somewhere that needs changed. There would be very little benefit in doing so and IMO you'd be unlikely to notice it short of benchmark figures in most games.
 
Wow lots of updates in the CTE. This one interested me.

THIS RELEASE: Today marks the first release of the new built in team balancer!
There are quite a few scripts to team balance servers out there (for PC atleast) – but we think this is something that should be handled by the game in a more graceful manner. In this release the balancer rebalances at End of round and when new players join:

New players will be placed in the team where they are deemed most needed (this can lead to lop sided teams in terms of numbers – this is ok).

Team switching is now also handled by the team balancer, so at times you won’t be able to switch teams in the current setup.

What is still missing (coming in future updates) is clear announcements to the players on what is going on (this will be coming in future updates).

We have plans to test Mid-round balancing as well, but we need to get the initial logic right before we start testing this.

How many of us OcUK players are up for a few large conquest games tonight? I'm craving some decent team play - any takers?

I say game night, will be about 3-4 hours - I should be able to get on for 1800-1830!

I have no wife or kids tonight so I am golden from about 7ish onwards.

Up for a good few games. Lets try for a big group tonight!

Fantastic!!

Looking forward to some more DLC but they need to be great maps. I for one would love to see Noshoir Canals :D
