Love this song, When I was little (about 4) I used to ask my parents to play the 'go to sleep song' when we were driving back from my nans and apparently by the time the song ended I was zonked :) Still love the song now at 27 years old

Thanks but, If I wanted to listen to Pink Floyd or Pearl Jam I'd have had my musical taste gland removed decades ago.

As a kid me and my brothers loved the video to "Walk of Life", don't know how many times I've seen it :D
 
When I first heard Livin' Joy's Dreamer back in 1995, I knew right away that it was going to be my all-time favourite track. 23 years on, it's still is :-) It has aged quite well as a dance track imo.
 
Even at 23, I think most of the stuff posted that has been released in the last 15 years (**** IMO that my ears have often been exposed to) posted here doesn't even class as good never mind great, but it's all personal taste, etc.

Dire Straits - Walk of Life as mentioned above is a great song, but so is Brothers in Arms and Money for Nothing. Another personal fave is Romeo and Juliet.
Crowded House - Don't Dream it's Over
The Jam - I Fought the Law, Bankrobber, Rock the Casbah
Fleetwood Mac - too many to mention
Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al, Me and Julio, etc..

Recent artists for me: Ben Howard, Hozier
