The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

He is an accident waiting to happen. Hope he stays away from wwe.

Waiting to happen? He's already killed.

Brian Ong incident

On May 28, 2001, Brian Ong died after receiving a flapjack from Singh. Ong had suffered a previous concussion during the session, but the trainers gave him a lower evaluation for not avoiding injuries and told him to continue training. In addition, it was proven that Ong did not receive any protective gear or supervision by APW staff. This second concussion ultimately proved fatal for him. As Singh inadvertently caused his death, Ong's family brought a lawsuit against All Pro Wrestling. They were found liable for recklessness after less than a day of deliberations, awarding the Ong family for damages of over $1.3 million.

Singh is Khali's real name btw.

Who's staying up for ONS then?

After this weeks Raw I'm really looking forward to the Last Man Standing match between Triple H/Orton, their last one at No Mercy was a brilliant match and I got a feeling that they're going to outdo it tonight!

Although I don't mind Triple H as champion I am hoping that Orton gets the win, it will be kind of recognition by the wwe of just how good he is.... I don't hold out a lot of hope he will win though :(

The Last Man Standing match and Taker and Edge's TLC match apart though the rest of the card has had a shocking lack of build up to it so can't say I'm really looking forward to much else apart from the two previously mentioned matches.... still staying up for it mind :D

I start placement tomorrow so no more live ppv's for a while.

I was thinking depending on interest if anyone would want to start a predictions contest for these events? Thoughts?

I doubt Orton will win as he has asked for some time off. Batista is also going to be having time off and will be off screen until Summerslam - apparently.

jeff hardy beats umaga
wonder where they hid the mat for that swanton bomb ;)

batista beats HBK, that match dragged on afair bit :/

HHH wins, orton injured. theyre saying orton has either broke his collarbone or something with his shoulder, he went for an RKO but h threw him over the top rope. tried to break his fall but landed awkwardly

last match now, edge vs taker TLC.
edge wins it, not a bad main event. so undertaker is now gone

During his match with Triple H at tonight's One Night Stand pay-per-view, Randy Orton took a bad fall after being thrown over the top rope and apparently broke his collarbone in the process. During the broadcast you could hear Orton tell the referee about his injury. The announcers started selling the injury on the broadcast. The match was scheduled to go a bit longer, but they soon went to the finish. Orton remained out on the floor clutching his shoulder while the referee made the ten count. As soon as the match was over, medics quickly stormed ringside to check on Orton.

After the match, Orton was immediately taken into a room backstage to be examined. He was then sent to the San Diego Medical hospital to determine the severity of the injury.

Orton was diagnosed with a broken left collarbone.

Ugh. There I was thinking we could have someone different as a contender, but no. It's John Cena again.

I'm probably quite new to WWE compared to some of you, but is it always a combination of the same three or four people fighting over the belts?

Well there's a draft in three weeks where all the wrestlers from each show are changed so it will have a fresher feel to it, but generally yes. Though Rey Mysterio is set to come back soon and he should be in the title picture.

I prefere the good old days when there was no brand division. WWE changed a lot in the last 8 or 9 years that I've been watching

So, anyone gonna try for the million dollars next week?
