If you read the spoilers from the people who were there, there was a LOT cut out. Edge was apparantly supposed to attack Vicki as she went to her limo, drag her into the ring and Undertaker came out to confront Edge.

None of it made it to air. :confused:

if what your saying is true, maybe they will show it at summerslam, saying "and this is what happened when smackdown went off air" kind of thing.
 
That was a fantastic PPV.

I thought every match was brilliant, executed to perfection. Some of the results were a bit disappointing but all in all well worth the money.

Then again i'd have paid £15 just to see HIAC. What a match. Some really breathtaking stuff, and the first time i've actually seen the cell itself destroyed! Plus Undertaker's revenge at the end was fantastic.

bit disapointed that ecw champ match went how it did, that could have been a better match.

the HIAC was awsome, as Tute says, i would have paid just for that match. the end was awsome, taker sending edge to hell.

have they changed the actual cell ? it looked way taller than previous matches, looking at the foley taker match they show in the build up, i dont think foley would have survived droping through the roof of the current cell.


i was expecting something from kane mid PPV, since he revealed the mysterio mask on raw i expected him and mysterio to apear, they even put mysterio in the ppv advert.

also how strong is cena to pick up batista in the way he did in to an FU

that annoyed me, i wouldve rather seen a 15 minute match for that rather than HBK talking for what seemed like an eternity :/

it was changed two years ago when DX faced the McMahons at unforgiven 06
the structure is taller but isnt as wide
 
few notes from last night

Shawn Michaels' real-life wife Rebecca took a stiff shot by Chris Jericho and had a nasty fat lip that really swelled up when she arrived backstage after the segment.

Some wrestlers were apparently shaking their heads at the fact Shawn Michaels didn’t attack Jericho after Jericho hit his wife, and thought he came off as a “wimp.“ One side of the argument backstage is that Michaels just admitted he was too unhealthy to fight anymore so there’s no way he would go after Jericho, while the other side of the argument is that some dude just punched his wife and he didn’t do anything about it.

I don't have this confirmed by anyone just yet but I heard from one source that JBL may have injured one of his arms. His fingers were shaking real bad during and after the match backstage. I'm told there was a tingling feeling at points during the the match. Stuff like that can be associated with the neck and back. I'll try to confirm this tomorrow.

as this is all scripted why would shawn michaels suddenly decided to attack y2j? im sure y2j didnt mean to actually hit his wife in the face.

michaels babbled on to long anyway im glad their rivalry is over as it was quite boring

punk and JBL did wack heads right near the end of the match, punk got a cut on the back of his head, i think thats why the next move was a GTS, to end the match quickly.
maybe thats what did JBL.

I agree. If you look at Y2J as he leaves he's almost crying - I think he realised he actually hit her and didn't mean to make contact. I'll bet he did a LOT of apologising when the HBK family had made their way backstage.

I don't think it's over at all. Not now. Expect this one to rage on a bit longer. I certainly wouldn't walk away leaving "unfinished business" like that.

I have to agree with you there. Anyhow a break might do JBL some good. He's become like the "Edge" of RAW. Not because he's so entertaining, or can wrestle as well, but he seems to get title shot after title shot. BORING!

Give someone else a sodding chance. I think it should have been Y2J in that ring with Punk, but then again I didn't realise the HBK stuff isn't finished.
 
Just watched Summer Slam. Hell in a cell was awesome. I expected a few more acrobatics. However Edge & Undertaker must have gone through the pain barrier to do that match. Well worth it
 
I hate Kane's new theme, his old former one was much better, and his debut theme has been the best so far; this new one doesn't seem to cut it for me.

Saying that lots of others on forums really like it.. imo can't see why

It was great when he rolled over Batista though, Batista seems to be the one that always sticks up for the little guy who can't defend himself and wins; Kane's sorted that out thankfully :)
