Just watching Smackdown, Triple H is brilliant on the Mic. He does the whole I am exposing the inner secrets of the wwe all the time haha.

Trips has always been great on the mic, even more so when hes over with the fans.

Good first match, and a NEW ECW CHAMPION! :D

[Edit] Rest of my thoughts...

ECW match was very good, probably the best match of the night. It had a real good flow, a good energy, which made me want to watch it intently. Good stuff. And note to the WWE - if you're going to have a "timed" match, this is how you do it. Not by just sticking with the old "pin with a second to go" thing.

WWE Championship Scramble - Triple H, Jeff Hardy, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, The Brian Kendrick

A pretty mediocre match if you ask me - nothing bad, but nothing special either. I was hoping either HHH would retain or Jeff Hardy would win, so I was happy with the outcome of this one.

World Heavyweight Championship Scramble - CM Punk, Batista, JBL, Kane, Rey Mysterio

Where do I start with this one? It started off okay-ish and got better as the ring got busier. By the time the fifth entrant limped down the slope, it was already shaping up to be an entertaining match. Absolutely jaw dropping finish. :D

Divas Championship Match - Michelle McCool vs. Maryse

Typical Diva "filler" match. I couldn't see them giving the belt to Maryse anyway.

Unsanctioned Match - Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho

A good match this, sadly not as good as the GMB match but it was facing a tough task to live up to that. Some good wrestling by both competitors, I thought the ending was a bit abrupt though and could have gone on for longer.

World Tag Team Championship - Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. Cryme Tyme

Only *just* better than the Diva's match, but not by much. Typical affair i'd expect to see on Monday night RAW, not at an event.

Pros: World Heavyweight Scramble, ECW Scramble, Michaels vs Jericho.
Cons: Divas Match, Tag Team match.

Oh, and I could see the Undertaker stuff coming a country mile off.

the raw match was a bit of a suprise at the end.

i think hardy was robbed in the SD match, he put in so much effort through the whole match then HHH comes in and just does 2 pedigrees and wins it, he really didnt deserve to retain the belt. i actually thought hardy was gonna break up the HHH pin at the end but he just looked at him then went for a pin on someone else(w t f).

i agree the ECW match was the best of the nite.

i really really hope the y2j/hbk thing is over as its really boring now, i mean how many times are they gonna show 3 weeks ago.

He wasnt supposed to get up, when he did get up he relised his mistake and just did a recovary.

Who else sees Triple H v Jeff Hardy at No Mercy?

In the match i thought Brian Kendrick did very well, fair enough we all knew it was been Jeff and triple H, but he was a very close 2nd to Jeff of being the best wrestler in the ring on the night. MVP, I dont get this guy, he cant wrestle when the time comes.

Im glad CM Punk has lost the title, he is never heavyweight class, am also glad to see Randy Orton coming into more segmants, Raw needs him.

Regardless, it looked really toothless. JH had plenty of time to break up the pin, he was no more than 3 feet away. Instead he just tries a pin of his own? I don't get it and it certainly wasn't very believable.

I'll admit Kendrick started well but slowly tailed off and ended up becoming the whipping boy for the others. Then again, once he'd done "The Kendrick", there wasn't much else for him.

I certainly think MVP is a better wrestler than Kendrick, but he suffered from the same problem as Kendrick did - that they both (and Shelton to a certain extent) were bit-part players in the "Jeff and HHH show".

At least Punk was different. I don't agree with giving it to Orton because he's just so boring to watch trying to cut a promo. He can wrestle with the big boys, but he can't talk in the ring to save his life. Punk can, Cena can, HHH can. Even Batista can.
 
im hoping we see a hardy/HHH match at the next ppv, hopefully Y2J winning the belt will end this boring feud with HBK.

i also want to see undertaker send big show to hell, choke slam through the mat please.
 
i must say, raw was quiet good this week

mainly to the bourne/mystereo tag team match, some of the moves were awsome, especialy the jump over the top rope hurricanrana to morrison on the floor.

From what I gathered from watching the fight I assumed Hardy saw Triple H making the pin so thought about making a pin of his own, meaning that once Triple H's pinful was broken/successful his would then count and he might steal the title that way.

Obviously, it wasn't scripted that way.

kane used to wear a mask, matt hardy and jeff were very skinny, the big show/mankind/stone cold and the rock were around then!

how times have changed!

Yea the Attitude era will never be surpassed imo; it was the best WWE/WWF will ever get.
 
I've been watching lots of clips on youtube recently, reminding me how good it used to be.

And I remember really hating Edge and Christian. But looking back, they were great. Skilled wrestlers, very good heels, and a good laugh. The hardys/Dudleys/E&C was the best feud in WWF.
