The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I'm sorry but by making Christian return on ECW was absolutely retarded along with his new music... He's a proven main eventer now and they have shoved him with the B list on ECW. Hes brilliant on the mic and is a complete waste on ECW.

I like your idea of him winning the MITB match but him returning like this is just complete and utter tosh, this is possibly the worst way they could have booked his return.

Wouldn't be surprised if he jumped back to TNA and i couldn't blame him. They could have made something huge out of him straight away but they decided to give him a kicking for leaving before making him big time.

Big time disappointing.

As ya can tell I very much agree....

Though I'm pretty sure he'll make a pretty quick rise to one of the other shows....at least that's what I hope!

This is the typical leaving and Vince is basically making him prove himself at the bottom of the food chain. He will rise quickly however as he definitely has the attributes in his general attitude and ability to do so.

MITB though would be great for him to win!

Christian needs his older theme back, this "cover" of it imo sounds crap.

Suprised they brought him out on ecw, then again from what ive been reading vinnie mac likes to put the boot into people who he believes are forever midcarders, even worse if they desert for the *ahem* "competition".

The WWE Draft will apparently be making a return on the 13th of April or somewhere just after WM25. Hopefully this will give the opportunity for a massive shakeup of the rosters and we can see some new feuds breaking out.

The draft process is stupid and it has its danger of peeing fans off.
eg. I bought my lad 2 tickets for an event in Nottingham last April, then the draft happened and he didn't get to see his fave wrestlers, cos they'd changed teams, so to speak.

But then, i don't suppose the WWE are bothered that some fans get upset and feel ripped off.

FYI the draft is just after WM25 this year, late April I think.

yeah, i can't fully remember when it was last year, cos we went to see 2 live events, one in april, one in november and one of them was after the draft so we felt like we'd been screwed.
So in both events we haven't seen the Undertaker, Cena or Batista my sons faves.

I think Undertaker was injured when the draft happened last year, it was in between ONS when he lost the TLC match against Edge which resulted in him getting "fired" and Summerslam when he returned.

Batista was a big name to make the switch though, I assume you went to see SD?

Really looking forward to NWO, will be really interesting to see just who ends up eliminating who in the chamber matches.

Not so much the Raw chamber match as I'll be amazed if it doesn't come down to Cena v Jericho as the final two with Kingston, Mysterio, Kane & Knox all there really just making up the numbers. The smackdown one though will be entirely different kettle of fish as it could easily come down to any two from Jeff, Trips, Taker & Edge, expect Big Show and Kozlov to be removed fairly early on. Although who pins Kozlov will be interesting.

Shame that both Cena & Edge are probably odds on to retain the belts leaving no surprises :(

What are the nights that the full smackdown, raw and any other shows show in full on sky so i can set them to record :)
thanks

What makes you so sure Trips won't come out of the SD chamber as champ? Clearly Cena will prevail yes hes invincible until WM.

Mainly because he's been playing second fiddle to most on Smackdown since he lost the belt at the Survivor Series, he's going into this event with no momentum

I do still think it's odds on for him and Edge one on one at Mania though

Ok i see your reasoning now. HHH will be in the main event regardless, i just thought it would be the easiest for him to have the belt to put somebody over hugely in the biggest event of the year, like edge or hardy (hopefully he's had his title reign for the first and last time)

Raw is on at 2am Mondays. And I think Smackdown is usually on at about 5pm Saturday nights. I don't think Sky Sports have it 'live' (replayed).

ECW is on Tuesdays at 2am (live I think). Not on Sky Sports though.

RAW is 2am Tuesday mornings.

SD is 10pm Friday evenings, and ECW is late Thursday evenings. Both of these are pre-recorded though.

ECW is Swagger vs Finlay, not an elim chamber match.

Christian vs Swagger is reportedly the ECW match for Wrestlemania.

My Picks

Raw - Cena
SD - Edge/HHH can't decide :D
ECW - Swagger
Orton vs Shane - Orton

Those are the only matches im interested in anyways :D

Heavyweight - Cena to retain (won't lose it to any of those)
WWE Champ - Edge to lose (will be either Jeff or Taker imo)
ECW Champ - Swagger to lose (Finlay to get his first (?) ECW title)
Orton v Shane - Shane to win
HBK v JBL - HBK to win

Being a Jeff Hardy fanboy I completely disagree with the last statement :p
