The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I really can't see how you are a Hardy fanboy. The guy is a drug addict, has weird hair and is now trying to be like Sting with his facepaint. Sorry but i'm really not into his character at all.

I just like Hardy's fighting style, the whole high flying, no holds barred kinda wrestling.

It's all well and good watching Cena and Batista grapple for 45 minutes, but I think the actual wrestling flair is all on the SD side.

Undertaker might sub him with that gogoplata (Hells gate/devils gate??) and then they can say Koslov has never been pinned still :D

Firstly he's no a drug addict, sure he's had his issues with drugs in the past but regardless of his personal problems I watch wrestling to be entertained and Hardy is one of the best in the business at doing that hence why his fanbase is so big.

As for your other points I'm not going to even comment on the hair comment as it's stupid and as for the face paint I find it's added greater depth to his character.

HBK and Orton may be the best pure wrestlers the WWE have at the moment but Hardy's unique in ring style makes him my favourite so I'm hoping it's not long before he's given another chance with one of the World titles

HHH does my head in, he simply isn't invincible but you wouldnt know it, he refuses to get pinned or lose cleanly
Indeed. They could have made the Taker v HHH bit better. Kicking out of a Last Ride then foot on the rope after a Tombstone.

Though they may be going for a HHH/Taker Wrestlemania stance where 1 will retire?

I doubt it, I heard taker was waiting till next year to retire as this WM is big enough already and with Flair doing the same last year.

I have no problem with the match am just getting sick and tired of seeing HHH win.

To me, a champion needs to be fresh and entertaining, both inside and outside the ring.

HHH is entertaining enough, but it looks like we're bedding down for another long title reign with The Game - he certainly doesn't tick the first box anymore.

The match itself was good enough, the Orton match was decidedly average.

Just as I write this, looks like things are spicing up! Trust Edge!!! :D

Loved the last match, the rest were a bit meh. Taker should have won, Shane vs. Orton, well meh also. Nothing exiting due to the silly PG rather than PG14.

I think he really has to, can't see them leaving raw without a belt. Will be interesting to see who they set Edge against if he makes the switch. Didn't imagine the last match playing out like that, although as soon as Edge was out against Hardy it was pretty clear he would be back at some point throughout the night. Thought it was a decent event, enjoyed both the cells and the shane-o-mac match. The filler was tedious and I had a wee nap.
