The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Yes am sure though in saying that Iv not seen it for a couple of years only got sky put back on since the summer.

Am used to the raw when it was on Friday night at 10.

There just to much talking and not enough wrestling

I think last Monday night had 3 matches the rest was all story which they drag on to long. My partner loves wrestling also but even she was saying she sicking of seeing the same pap over and over for weeks.

Gees how many weeks did ray get jumped by mike knox...

I find smackdown more enjoyable

Thats your problem right there m8, you've not seen it for a couple of years. Those last couple of years have been shambolic for wrestling and now its just about on the way up, thats why Raw has been good recently.

As for Smackdown, watching Undertaker spend 15mins comming down the ramp is much more entertaining.. Having BigShow with his horrible boxing gimmick. Need i carry on?

I'll say it again, Raw has been great recently.

^ Yea the last 3-4 years of wrestling has been absoloutly rubbish. Now that its in the way up again, hopefully it will stay like that.

But got a gut feeling after westlemania it'll go dry again. :(

The royal rumble was a bit of a let down but the main event was good.

I really really enjoyed the NoWayout show was just class

But got a gut feeling after westlemania it'll go dry again. :(

I think the draft starting on the 13th is the attempt to prevent the thing going stale again and hopefully it wont!

I do hope Wrestlemania is good this year and im sure it will be as I never really enjoyed last years too much at all!

No Way Out certainly was the best PPV in recent times and one that was full of major surprises! Was brilliant IMO!

Royal Rumble did really disappoint but that was due to the sheer obvious nature of Orton's win.

I heard about Test, saw it in a tiny column in The Sun the other day and recognised him instantly.

Sad to hear :( but it said it was linked with steroids iirc.

Wrestlemania on Sunday then. What are peoples thoughts?

I can't remember the full card but I'm expecting Edge to lose to Cena as he is apparently taking some time off for injuries again. I can't see them giving the belt to Big Show.

Randy Orton to beat Triple H.

Hopefully Jeff Hardy to beat Matt Hardy followed by another title push.

I'm looking forward to the MITB ladder match but there seems to be not so many athletic guys in it this year, i.e Finlay, Kane and Mike Knox iirc.

I noticed that they are charging something like $45 for the SD version and about $65 for the HD version in the USA. Crazy sums of money if true.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton - Orton

World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show (Triple Threat Match) - Cena

Intercontinental Champion JBL vs. Rey Mysterio - Not sure here, ICC seems to be changing hands a lot recently but Mysterio is due a push.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy (Extreme Rules Match) - Heart says Jeff but head says Matt. WWE loves to string it's feuds out, and having Jeff win would put this to bed far too early IMO.

WWE Tag Team Champions vs. World Tag Team Champions (Unified Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match) - M&M without a doubt. I can't stand them (although they're certainly decent wrestlers), but Vince loves them and I don't think he'd dare put a Unified Tag Championship on Carlito and his double.

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker - Undertaker of course. I'd put my house on this one.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match (CM Punk, Mark Henry, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Christian, Kofi Kingston, MVP, Finlay) - Tough call this. Can't see Punk winning again, or Kofi, Finlay, MVP (due to him already having a belt). They might decide to push Shelton after his loss, or maybe Kane (hell that's long overdue). But i'd probably say Christian, with him using the MITB to start a feud with Edge. I'd prefer to see Kane go on a murderous rampage with a title though! :D

25-Diva Battle Royal - Don't care really. Maybe that new Asian chick who ran in on the Diva match? Otherwise one of McCool, Phoenix, or Mickie James.

Chris Jericho vs. WWE Legends - The Legends, no way they'd come back to wrestle if they were going to lose to Y2J.
