The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Heh it was complete (and fortunate) chance, because I'm getting married the weekend of 29th out in Santa Barbara so we're all arriving into LA on the Saturday previously anyway :p But tickets were about $50-60 each I think, at the Staples center - should be a right laugh :D

Swagger and Dreamer aren't involved nor injured

All of ECW's talent is either involved or injured.

Dreamer i'll partially give you but please don't try and pass the gimpy tree off as "talented".

Does no one here like Triple H or something? :( :p

He got a title run last year, it was long and very boring long before it ended.

Plus Orton deserves that title for all he's done since coming back from injury. He's quite simply the best RAW has at the moment.

I agree, but I just think this storyline, especially in it's current stage, is the wrong way to give it to Orton

I think and hope Triple H retains it at 'mania, and will probably lose it at the following PPV

Not really, I think they have a lot more in the pipeline for "Legacy" and having Orton take the title is just the first part in it.

Trips is guaranteed in the main card events regardless if he has the title or not, don't worry Steedie. Its not like he'll go and fued with Jesse and Festus or something.

One thing I can never get my head around is how hard WWE push it's events. I mean sure, it's great that you have this match with Edge and Cena and Big Show for the title, and that HHH is angry at Orton, but it doesn't need to be said 50 damn times.

I mean surely they make money off the fans for this kind of thing - the people who are going to buy the event will buy it regardless. So really what's the point?

Same as that 12 rounds crap, they bombard people with this kinda turd all the time and it just gets annoying. Every week on raw for the last several its time to see some new "unseen footage" of 12 rounds. NOBODY CARES FFS its got cena in it its already tanking at the box office and theyve had to lower their estimates twice already.

When will Vince learn that outside of wrestling he's nothing, wbf tanked, xfl tanked and now this wwe films crap.

Having any strap does not automatically make you "talented". Especially the ECW one.

And where did I say it did?

My point all along is that the ECW title should be on the line at Mania and they have the talent (in the wrestling sense of the word) to have done a match

Depends on the context of the word I assume. Therefore you may kindly shove your rolleyes.

Possibly, and I can see your point, but i'd take any of the other matches over an ECW title one.

Hall of Fame was great. Some of the current superstars can only dream to be a fraction of what SCSA was.

(and lame Sky cut it off before the end..)

Anyone staying up to watch this? I used to be able to watch wwf/e ppvs live but now I can barely stay up past 2am. lol. I get really tired now a days.

I'll have to set my dvd recorder. :)

How much is the HD version? I know in America they're charging around $70 for the HD version.

Me and my mates are getting dressed up as wrestlers again and staying up to watch it. Last year ended up with a lot of 20/21 year olds sitting around in fake tan and speedos watching a laptop stream as 'ordering' didn't work. Last year I went as Cena, this year as Mark Henry :D

Sky HD version is the same cost as the SD version

I'm so excited, watched the Hall of Fame replay this morning, reminded me of my teens seeing Austin back, as they said, if anyone deserved a spot, he did

Roll on on 1am

I wish I had sky HD then I'd record that. SD will have to do.

Its going to be 4 hours long. I can see the HBK vs Taker match going for at least 30 minutes. :)
