The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Well it's a crying shame.

Even a Brothers of Destruction run with Undertaker would be most welcome.

I was surprised at the fact CMPunk won MitB again and now he has been completely buried since then, its a strange thing and way WWE works.

I saw Kane climbing up and thought finally he is going to get a good run going, that's something that he needs and something that would be fresh. Unfortunately we have an unbelievable main eventer running about with the breifcase gettin his *** handed to him at every turn.

Actually I'm just annoyed with a lot of whats going down in WWE at the moment. Smackdown > Raw just says a lot.

Oh yeah so Santino won a match vs Chavo....I hope he actually gets to wrestle again now he has discovered his "fighting" touch.

Inferno matches were always awful though :(

Admittedly i've never seen one, just the idea sounds exciting.

Off to Youtube to have a look I think.

For all of 2008, it was SD > RAW by an absolute mile, no contest. Now it's a lot closer with Orton ruffling feathers, he's a good heel.

I still prefer SD though - all the meatheads are on RAW whereas SD got a lot of good but under-utilised talent from the draft. Big potential if Vince wants to use it.

tbh last year I felt Raw was the more entertaining broadcast, thats obviously a personal opinion. SD getting Jericho on board was massive IMO! Absolutely massive! He was both underused and underworked by WWE on RAW and I can say I'm looking forward to him on SD getting a decent run.

Yes I agree Orton is a good heel, very good infact....however....the whole Legacy thing has already run its course I fear, not good in any way shape or form right now. Especially now we have Flair kicking around again *yawns* give it up Flair :p

just finished watching judgment day today, had to aquire it by other means.

thought it wasnt to bad of a ppv but could have things i thought ruined it

mystero should not of won his match, jericho was by far better throughout the match then mystero goes and does the only two moves he knows and wins it.

hardy vs edge, matt ruined the best match of the night by interfearing, im already bored of his fued with jeff.

nothing special about the other matches tbh but i did enjoy santino coming out to confront the miz he is actually quite funny in the way he miss prenounces peoples names etc.

also, is it only me who cant understand rick flair when he gets on the mic?

So you didn't think much of the Undertaker-Edge feud that ran from the start of 2008 until Summerslam?

That alone made SD the best place to be.

No that was indeed a fued I enjoyed....I didnt say there was not one part of SD I didnt enjoy last year. I just preferred RAW is all. :)

In ECW it would appear the "new" hart foundation is starting up :p DHSmith won his match vs Finlay with some help from his stable mates....

*EDIT*

Vince has moved Raw to the Staples Centre in Los Angeles

Fair enough. :)

One thing that does put me off about RAW is that it's on at 2am... but that's more of a side effect of being in the UK... ;)

Yeah sucks tbh, I just sky+ it since there are sooooooo many ads since it is live in the USA! You could just get it by other means of course.

I just wait for the Thursday repeats, but you're right, Sky+ would be a better alternative. :)

That way I just watch RAW then ECW.

Anyone read the spoilers from the ECW/Smackdown tapings? Extreme Rules is just a bunch of rematches from Judgement Day! The World Title match does have the ability to be awesome mind ;)

Hmmmmmmm Edge v Hardy, Ladder Match....would rather some TLC but in all honesty you know the other elements will appear.

Jericho v Rey....No Holds Barred....sigh!

WWE are so lucky it's free in the UK, otherwise they'd not be getting any money from me.

The Championship matches have potential, but the rest... meh. No Holds Barred? Isn't that just a fancy term for no-DQ? And Submission as well, it's just an excuse for Cena to hit the STFU.

Although i'll put good money on it that Orton will just find a way to climb out of the cage, and Matt will run in on the other match and spoil it.

I miss the days of the championship holders being a powerful force, Edge and Orton just seem to have the act like a wuss angle. Just a shame.

Submission match sounds retarded. In the past cena had the stf on big show, wwe like to think their audience has memories that don't extend past 6 months.

Batista will probably put him through the ring with a batista bomb, climb over the top to find that orton had crawled out through the apron. Like what JBL did a few years back.

or

<insert alternative farfetched outcome here>

Just reading around, it's amazing how many wrestlers have simply faded into nothing and left the WWE.

I remember the adverts for Kizarny, he went in March. Manu, who was almost part of Legacy, gone. Deuce and Domino, as well as Cherry (who I actually thought was one of the hottest divas) all gone as well.

And there are plenty of others.

I honestly have no clue how Randy Orton has a higher overall than Batista on smackdown vs raw 2009... When orton doesnt even have the guts to face him 1 on 1.
Cos he's a better wrestler than Batista? All Dave has is strength, whilst he loses out in technique, speed and versatility. I like Batista, but he has very limited ability, and is a sort of throwback to the early 90s Hogan era of basic move - basic move - big finisher - win

Each to their own.

...but you're wrong:p

Cherry as in the bint that came to the ring with Deuce and Domino?

Leave off mate not in a month of Sunday's was she hotter than Michelle McCool Maria or Kelly x2 :p

That French Canadian chick aint bad either ;)
