The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

The UK Sun reports that WWE is scrapping the promotions for the "DX Invasion" tour of Europe planned for later this year. This might indicate that WWE doesn't expect Shawn Michaels back before the fall, and would back up some rumors that HBK won't be returning until WrestleMania next year.

NOOOOOOOO :( I want a DX Invasion - though I guess if Shawn needs some time off he deserves it

Nothing much to report following the Smackdown tapings except it'll be Punk v Edge for the title on Raw as well as Cena v Big Show v Triple H v Orton for the vacated WWE Title. Oh and Dreamer v Christian for the ECW title

just watched extreme rules, not watched raw from the other night yet tho.

2 things that looked incredibly painful, edge getting suplexed into the opened up ladder, must have hurt the ribs a lot and that fall jeff took from the huge ladder to the mats were he missed the ladder he was ment to fall on. looked like he landed right on shoulder, how he didnt break something is quite amazing as orton broke his collar bone(i think) just going over the top rope. jeff takes some real beatings.

shame the pvp was ruined by cm punk cashing in.boo.

just watched raw, with HHH back he will prob be in a match next week on raw with orton to become new champ. sadly i bet he will win it too.

Next RAW is the 3 hour supershow ... and it will be Cena vs HHH vs Orton vs Big Show for the belt I think

Oh god.

Why do they keep recycling the same feuds? All those people out there, they could have done something spontaneous.

A Stone Cold, a Ric Flair. Hell, even a Ted DiBiase Snr to spice it up as the new GM of RAW.

But no, instead we're going back to the billionaire tycoon wars gimmick. No doubt it'll end up with a fight to settle it, that'll end up with RAW going back to Vince.

Remind me not to bother following this one.

If only they came up with a contest so grea... how about who ever loses gets his.... errrmmm.... hair cut off????

oh wait

This is when WWE is really boring :/ Should have had someone decent as GM! Even that talk was boring when they announced him!

I thought they were going to go with something really outrageous. But alas, they just rolled this out again.

yawn HHH to win the belt next week, become boring champ again. would rather see the miz than HHH champ.

he just came back last week and is straight in championship match :/

meh :(

Though props to HHH

Wrestlezone,

I have been a fan of wrestling for a long time. I've gone to ever wwe live event within a 100 mile radius of charlotte for the last 5 years. Before that I traveled to the nearest location wherever Raw or smackdown was being held. I can honestly say tonights RAW was the most fun I've had in a long time. I've been a fan since I was little. I'm now 30+ and I still turn into a kid when I go to live events. I saw something tonight in charlotte that made me more of a fan of Triple H than I ever was before.

It had nothing to do with wrestling or politics or simply getting over with the fans. It was pure class. After the matches HHH threw a T-shirt into the stands. As usual a crowd scambled to get the T-shirt. Of course, someone managed to get it. However, there was a small kid around 10-12 that got caught up in the melee. The kid was knocked down and started crying and laying on the floor. The entire time this was happening HHH didn't take his eyes off the situation. He immediately went straight threw the crowd to the little boy, picked him up and took him back into the ring
.

He then gave the boy a pep talk and motioned him to pose with him around the ring. They went around the ring posing. The boy was so happy you would have thought it was Christmas. Any pain he may have felt or no matter how upset he may have been, this definitely made up for it. HHH then took the boy back, circled around the ring and then came back to the boy to make sure he was OK. This to me was a class act and made me a fan of the person along with being a fan of the wrestler. Props to HHH! Just my 2 cents.

Haven't watched Raw yet but what's the point in next weeks title match when there's a match between the two set for The Bash?

I love Triple H, think he's an awesome wrestler and great character. However that story surprises me as he's always made out as if he's bad with fans, stories from public appearances etc. So I'm glad something like that happens

he is a good wrestler but he gets the belt so easy and then holds on to it forever
