I think it's a terrible move to be honest, especially if the majority of their angles in the near future are centered around the Tag Titles, was really enjoying Rey/Jericho and would hate to see it end

As for Edge meh just stick him in with CM Punk & Jeff Hardy, the angle sucks anyway (but that's just because I dont want Punk to turn heel)
 
Punk is going really stale, a heel turn is exactly what he needs.

I really can't see your point about Edge and Jehrico, we need a good solid tag team to hold the belts. Miz and Morrison split (great desision imo), the Colons just wern't good enough imo and there is only Legacy left then; who i would really enjoy watching as the tag champs.
 
Tom64 - no reason you cannot have Edge and Jericho in both the Tag and the Singles title angles at the same time

And WWE need to reform DX to go for singles for HHH and also joint as a Tag :D

Would be awesome :D

True but it's obviously not something the wwe are considering doing with Edge and Jericho for the time being

You never know - Edge was injured pre-Bash so they couldn't build an angle with him going into the Bash and have a long match really.

I assume the titles will pass to Legacy then.

Is NoC free or paid for? Looking at the line-up, i'm not sure i'm happy to drop £15 to see most matches go the same way they have the past few months.
 
Thing is, since I "got into" WWE last January, the only PPV i've missed live is Judgement Day '08.

This would be the second.

But after Judgement Day this year, I swore I wouldn't buy anymore unless I liked the look of the lineup.

Top WWE SmackDown Star Injured Last Night, Possible Title Change, More

- We received a report last night from a fan in attendance at the SmackDown/ECW live event in San Diego saying Edge was injured during his match with Jeff Hardy. The fan says Edge was running towards Jeff when it appeared he twisted or broke his ankle and that his foot was in a very awkward position. The match was stopped, EMT's came running to Edge and he was helped to the back but not before he told the fans "sorry" on the mic.

Furthermore, Dave Meltzer says the injury may be a torn Achilles tendon and that they had only been actually wrestling for about a minute. This would be a serious injury for one-half of the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions that would likely require surgery and put him out of action for a while.

Meltzer also reports that WWE are most likely going to try and figure out a way to get the belts on Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase and if you haven't read RAW spoilers for next week, we will find out more about that on Monday. Word is that WWE is looking at footage of the Edge vs. The Great Khali match taped on Wednesday night for next Friday's SmackDown to see if there's a spot in the match where they can claim a storyline injury happened

Im getting pretty bored of WWE nowadays, though it still beats most crap on telly...

Orton vs HHH... Come on, move on! This storylines been going on for so long it's just gone stale. We need Taker and HBK back with some new feuds. What really bugs me is that we dont have the Edge/Christian reunion or feud that so many websites predicted before Christian was officially signed by WWE - that would be good for the tag matches if they reunited.

Cena vs Big Show... Again, the storylines went stale.

Bring back the days of Stone Cold, The Rock, DX, Goldberg, The Hardy Brothers (as tag champs) etc etc.
 
What they could do with the Edge injury...

Y2J is forced to find a replacement, they work it into the storyline so that Y2J and his new partner get to keep the belts.

Edge returns. Finds he's been replaced. It all kicks off, and he goes in search of a partner to take the belts back.

Having two of the best, most sly, underhand heels going at one another would be a hell of a feud, and give some credibility to the Tag titles.
 
Certainly a good angle there... That way they could still bring the Edge-Christian reuinion to fruition. Would certainly spice things up for the tag matches which for a long time I have found insanely boring. It's just not been the same since the Hardy & Team 3D era.

Would like to see more Bourne vs Mysterio matches as the moves and countless counters are extremely impressive.

Bring Taker & HBK back and have 2 reunions... Taker & Kane vs HBK & HHH

What a match that would be! :D
 
In all honesty, i have not missed HBK or Taker at all for the past few months they have had off.

Its seems like good news bad news with edge, bad news that he's injured and it looks like they will have to cut the title run short, but great news that Legacy get a run with the belts. If Orton can hold onto the belt along with Cody and Ted then we could have a domination faction, all they need is a powerhouse enforcer 4th member (Swagger?) to hold the IC/US belt and they are all set.

Aye. WWE are royally ****** - Edge out, Taker out, HBK out, Batista out, Hardy only contracted for a few weeks (sorry I was wrong before it was until end of July not end of June), who else am I missing who is out injured?

On the other hand, could be a good thing?

It's about time some of the new talent stepped up to the mark, and he spate of injuries could help facilitate that.
 
The only worthy main event talent they have is Morrison, perhaps Miz, or a 2nd push for Carlito (who never really got that over with the fans the first time round despite having Flair)
I don't think Swagger, at least currently is main event material; nor is Bourne or Ziggler.
I suppose the Hart Dynasty - but everytime I see them I just realise how much they suck compared to Bret and Owen in their day.

Either way, I don't watch RAW and SD to see the likes of MVP, Ziggler or Swagger ... I watch if for Taker, HBK, HHH, Batista, Cena, Edge, Mysterio, Y2J, Morrison and so on ...
