This royal rumble I am really routing for Triple H, he should have won this Rumble more then once for what he has given to WWE.

I thought Austin didn't want to guest host?

Apparently he does now

March 15, 2010: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Less than two weeks before WrestleMania XXVI, WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hosts Raw on March 15. The WWE Universe should certainly mark their calendars for the legendary Rattlesnake's return, as it is sure to turn WWE’s flagship show upside down. Though it’s uncertain what will happen when Stone Cold takes his place at the head of Raw for one night only, there's no doubt that he'll be looked at as one of Raw’s most controversial special guest hosts.

YAWN!

According to a source within WWE, Vince McMahon's mood concerning the current plans for the WrestleMania 26 card are said to be very erratic. The creative team is said to be ducking for cover at this point, as they never know how Vince will react to what the team has planned for the PPV. At times, he is said to be pleased with what the team is doing, and other times he becomes irate demanding that the creative team put something more "exciting" together.

At this point, Vince feels that the current WrestleMania card is lacking "one more big attraction," and he thinks the PPV needs something more than what the current creative plans call for. At this point, the card looks like this:

-Triple H vs Sheamus for the WWE Title.

-Chris Jericho vs Edge. Even though Edge is questionable at this point, WWE is banking on him being able to return in time for the PPV because they want to book this match.

-Vince McMahon vs Bret Hart. This match is said to be a lock right now.

-Randy Orton vs Ted DiBiase, Jr is likely, but these plans are far from set in stone.

Vince wants to book something big for John Cena, and he is trying very hard to put together a Cena vs The Rock match for the show, but it all depends on Dwayne Johnson's schedule, and the outlook at this point is not too good.

I'd be just a little bit disappointed if that's all they can come up with as well, the article is probably bull though as there's no chance that The Rock will come back even for just one night so I cant imagine why they'd even think about is being a possibility tbh. They should do Cena v Batista IMO

So we get HBK vs Taker as well, and Cena vs ???

So who does Batista face? And no Rey seems odd as well (unless he is MITB).

WM usually has 8 matches of decent length, so with the list above, plus HBK vs Taker that gives us 5 plus MITB making 6.
Cena vs Batista could work, but it is not a headline grabbing match. Cena vs Rock would be the headline main event, otherwise you either have HBK or Y2J be the main event matches as Sheamus will not headline WM.

A smarter move if the Rock won't do it would be to have Cena vs Taker vs HBK I feel, in a cage of some kind perhaps, have Batista vs CM Punk vs Rey too, and add a Miz vs McIntyre match to the mix too or even another Shelton vs Christian

Oh, and if Cena goes over the Rock I'm never watching another WWE program

EDIT:
Adding Betch vs Natalya vs Mickie vs McCool could also be a decent match, even though it is divas.

LOL at some of those matches, cage matches at Wrestlemania? Not these days, nor should there be IMO. Especially when the event prior to Mania is an all Elimination Chamber ppv

I also disagree that Batista v Cena wouldn't be a big draw, they've only faced off once before, at Summerslam 2 years ago.

Oh and Rey Mysterio will be facing CM Punk in a Mask v Hair match ;)

I reckon the Mania card will look like this....

The Undertaker v HBK
Vince McMahon v Bret Hart
Jericho v Edge (I reckon Edge will be back)
Randy Orton v Ted DiBiase
Rey Mysterio v CM Punk
MITB (Miz, Morrison, Rhodes, Kingston, Kane, Matt Hardy, Christian, Benjamin)
Obligatory Diva's match

So that leaves Cena, Triple H, current champ Sheamus (Cant for the life of me see him still being champ going into Mania), soon to be champ Batista (I've no doubt if Taker will face HBK again then he'll be dropping the belt to Batista first) & Big Show to fill the two title matches

Perhaps cage was a silly idea yes, I still feel Cena vs Batista is not a WM match, an SS match perhaps yes but not WM draw ability.

Batista = biggest heel on Smackdown
Cena = biggest baby face on Raw

Seems perfect Mania fit to me albeit personally I'd much prefer to see Triple H v Batista due to their Evolution history, maybe do that and then just stick Cena and Sheamus in a match (given their recent history) that no one gives a toss about :p

First post in here, even though I've been a WWE fan for years :D

The WWE needs to give some Jericho love soon. He's by far my favourite superstar but they're all getting staler by the week. I've even started watching TNA. WWE is starting to fail hard. It's getting to the point where even the heels aren't interesting any more. The only wrestlers I actually enjoy watching at the moment are Jericho, McIntyre, the Miz, Triple HHH (although I detest DX), Chavo, The Undertaker (although he should be permanent heel) and Santino :D

Previously, the list of wrestlers I really didn't like was fairly small (the real baby-faces, typically :D), now it's huge. I literally can't be bothered with Cena, Orton, Kingston, Sheamus, Battista, Mysterio, John Morrison, Christian, MVP, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes.... the list goes on and on.

However, I still watch it, in the faint hope that it will improve somehow. I'm hoping Hogan taking over TNA will make the WWE buck its ideas up and bring back some real entertainment, rather than the cuddly love-ups designed to keep the slack-jawed yokels tuning in and making posters. Then again, how more backward can you get than the TNA crowds? :D

I dunno, how are TNA crowds backwards?

And if I was Vince I would be very worried about TNA, just saw their 2nd post Hogan episode and overall it felt far more slick than the first, and was MUCH better than anything WWE has put out, including tonight's soon to air SD.
The reason last week was not as slick as usual is because TNA usually pre-records the shows and are not live to doing live shows.
Watching latest TNA made me feel like we were back in 1999, height of the Attitude era - it was that good.

Very odd booking for the Royal Rumble on this weeks WWE shows, Sheamus v Orton? Christian v whathisname (should have been Christian v CM Punk surely?), Taker v Rey Mysterio?
