PANASONIC DMP-UB390EB Smart 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player £129 Currys.

I haven't got this player, but that looks to be a good price

£70 for the gen 2 echo. Is this a good price?

It’s a good price, doubt will get any lower before Christmas. I bought 3 the other week at similar price, however I’m sending all 3 back.

Currently have 1st Gens and the 2nd are nowhere near as good as 1st. Sound quality if tinny/muffled in places (despite the update) and I found alexa just didn’t understand a lot of things Vs 1st Gen.

However if you’ve not had/or got 1st Gen, it should be a good pick up as you’ll have nothing to compare against.

Not sure if still active but VoucherCode had an offer for a £10 gift card when spending over £69.99, I used that and received a £10 credit around 3 days later.

Same, I’m tempted. Just put off by the hub, if I got this it’ll mean I’ll have 3 hubs setup over the house :/

Hmm, that does sound off putting. I think I'll still leave it.

Managed to get a guitar effects pedal from Hungry Robot in the US with 15% and free international delivery. Not sure about customs but that’s £50 off the UK price so took a punt! :)

For those who remember my dishwasher whinings earlier in the thread... last week it was £350 and I was going to buy. Went up to £450 overnight. Yesterday was £368 so was going to buy - now at £420! pffft. Will keep you all posted with this riveting dishwasher buying.

Thanks. Not going to bother. Must not succumb to the hype!

They're good functionally. For some reason using ceiling lights in my living room is banned, so instead we have 5 lamps dotted around (don't). I don't have the will power necessary to turn them all on and off at night so I stuck Hue bulbs (or Innr are cheaper) in them and bound them to a physical switch that I stuck on the wall with the sticky pad.

On/Off all the lamps, dimmable and everything with one press.

Is the Xbox 1s still worth buying, i can get it for NZ $325 (about £165) with assasins creed. It'll be for 4k movies too.

Just bought my daughter an Xbox one S for Chrimbo, the limited edition 1TB minecraft one from Argos. Ok it's a lot more expensive than a standard Xbox one S but got an extra piggy minecraft controller worth £65 for free and took the 4 year old PS4 down to CeX this week and got £100 back on that heap of junk.
