The Black Friday 17 Thread! - pls make sure you understand competitor rules

GF really wants an Echo, so will be hoping for a deal on those, otherwise its just going to be some cheap spirits for christmas. As others have posted, its mostly cheap tat that no one actually wants, but they "just had to buy it" because "it was a bargain".

Not usually too bothered about Black Friday deals but a couple of years ago did manage to bag a bargain 980Ti from a competitor! Might keep an eye out for a Mavic Pro or 1080Ti.

Theres a few things I am hoping will be on offer, but they are from Germany and I'm not sure if they bother with it over there...

The day the Amazon bods sit there and say “Right, this 2 year old unsold electric toothbrush is £75. Let’s raise the RRP to £125 and offer a massive saving of 50%! Someone will fall for it”.

It's funny you should say that. My Philips Diamond Clean was £90 when I bought it from Amazon last year. It's broken, but they've now put the price up to £145, and will only issue a refund rather than a replacement.

I wonder if it will come down to £90 again. At present they claim an RRP of £200. Jokers.

Can't you send it back to the manufacture?

That can’t be right surely?

Have a few things on the "would like but a bit too expensive at the moment" list that I may pick up if I catch them at a decent price

Hue light bulbs for me.

And a Corsair 570X, though I doubt that'll be anywhere for a good price.

After a new smartwatch to replace my old gear S2 (broken strap and I'm getting a refund). Any reccomendations? I like the shape/size but had multiple straps break on it which is a PITA. Maybe the huawei W1?

As I type this I am wearing a Gear S3 Frontier. I'm a huge fan of it. The selection of apps is less than normal Android Wear but it's more than ample for my use as a notification device / timer / fitness tracker.

Also, it looks like a real watch with a real clicky bezel. Go give one a shot if you can. Picked mine up at the Jungle for a really good price a few months back.

How much is a good price? I'm Hesitant as the strap on my s2 was poor and also as I've heard the s3 is bigger?
