The BMW Question?

...but the point I was trying to make is that I get that everyday from people in all makes of cars\vans. Your statement was "but one thing that does put me off BMW ownership is the arrogance of some of the owners". I see this behaviour from drivers of all types of vehicles...

Ah, yes, I see. I suppose you are right, to a degree. Personally I see "bad driving" every day, but I only see such displays of blatant arrogance from "prestige" drivers. This thread is about BMW specifically, and what may make BMW less desireable to people, and so I aimed my comments at BMW, however, it's much the same in Mercs, Jags and so on.

IMO the worst drivers on the road are Van drivers (im not trying to generalise here if anyone drives a van). Whenever I've had road rage I'd say 80% of the time it is because of some idiot in a van cutting me up or pulling out into the 'overtaking lane' at 40mph and taking over 2 minutes or so to get past the Artic infront of of him.

They should realise they're in a van and just be patient. I had a van instead of a car for a good while and they're not THAT bad to drive, they just have no power whatsoever

So leave BMW drivers alone!!! :)

I havent read the whole thread, but my take on it is:

I always said I'd never drive a BMW. Never, never!

Now I drive a 330d.

No-one makes a better diesel engine for my budget. And its RWD too. :)
