That's one of my favourite scenes of TV ever...

I was honestly half expecting the Sheriff to just have a scuff on his head, like Raylan did. Still could, I guess.

I hope grogu picks the light saber. The thought of having a 'prime' yoda in the future would be amazing.

Im guessing Ashoka series will have flashback of her meeting Luke for the first time.

Love these Easter egg videos. Makes you realise how much they stuff in each episode.

The crate dragon rib cage in the bar within Freetown for instance. Not to mention the Jawas hauling the skull on the sandcrawler :D

“#TheBookOfBobaFett is really taking the character back to his roots: absent 90% of the time and standing silently for the other 10%.”

Have to agree with this comment

Just watched Wednesday's episode and wow it was good. It's been cheesy until Ep 5 - is there a different team working on the Mando / backstory side of things?

They used the bad batch cad bane voice rather than the "raspier creole" clone wars one. Very similar but more toned down, thats what threw me.

Why do people insist calling it fan service when certain characters or items or whatever come into play? If it is needed for part of the story its not fan service its for the plot. Baffles me.

Eh, agree and disagree. While not everything is fan service things like the Naboo fighter just don't really fit Mando's character so it feels more like forcing in a prequel reference instead of being a well thought out plot point.

using ai to generate Luke’s voice instead of getting hamill to do the lines, not surprising it sounds disconnected.

Impersonator maybe but I think it would take a lot of editing these days to get Hamill's voice to fit the younger character - probably with at least as discordant effect as a generated voice.

I wasn't overly bothered by it - though I did notice from the sibilance it was either heavily edited or generated - I didn't really take note of the uneven speed the first time around.

I noticed he talked most when we couldn't see his mouth move, but overall quite impressed with how committed to the original detail they are.
