At least they're timetabling the shafting. Why anyone would want to live in London baffles me. Come to Manchester - we told them to stick the congestion charge where the sun don't shine, and we're still getting the improvements they were holding us to ransom over...

They ditched the idea in Cambridge once already. Businesses said they would leave town if they did it :p

Mostly because they wanted to put the science and business parks inside of it and most workers there have to commute in. If Diane Abbot was a council she would be Cambridge council.

if insurance prices rocket because of these, then it will be costly each year !

it's the older cars they target not the newer ones.

on the older ones it's worth £300-£500 to nick one. on the new cars it's £50-£200.

hardly worth risking jailtime for £50. when there is one worth 10 times as much in the next street over.
