I was a bit disappointed with that gameplay. It could have been Dead Space 4 for all intents and purposes.
Well it's from same guy who created Dead Space. So yeah, it's basically Dead Space 4 lol.I was a bit disappointed with that gameplay. It could have been Dead Space 4 for all intents and purposes.
RT eyeballs! Given it is an AMD game, didn't expect this level of RT detail tbh but here we go.“We've got a full scan, even down to ray-traced reflections for the eyeballs. So if you look into the [character’s] eyes in our game, you can see their reflected optics. It’s a really tiny detail, but it's those tiny details that actually are so important to our game.”
Finally got round to watching this. The combat isn't really doing it for me so far. Melee combat and heavy looking gunplay. Best part of Dead Space was how good the guns felt imo.
Probably the only level of RT perf. AMD can handle is eyesThe Callisto Protocol looks so lifelike, even the eyeballs are ray-traced
The eyes are the window to body horrorwww.techradar.com

Pretty neat tbh, although CP is going for the ultra realism route whilst R&C is stylised animation so you always feel like you're in an animation I guess
Forgot this, this game uses UE4 but a highly custom version of the engine which also has UE5 under the bonnet as Epic helped them out to get bits to work under UE4.Another unreal stutter engine game great. Maybe it'll be fixed in UE5 but I doubt it.
