Anything that means no need to use towels then clean said towels afterwards then store them properly so they don't crap after x time etc, also big loud machine is what we want anyway right.

Exactly - anything that means no need to apply a drying towel to your cars paint is a bonus and a no brainier for properly taking care of your car, totally agree.

Leaf blowers are a fairly poor idea. They tend not to have a very fine filter to you can end up firing all sorts of crap at your car!
We are talking the 2023 leaf blowers ex:

Not the 1990s leaf blower with a big bag attached and a pipe bigger than a Supra's tail pipe

Edit: Swapped 'we' for 'I'; we know Mrk can be outrageous.

Wouldn't that be a vacuum rather than blower?

I haven't bought the greenworks cordless yet but,

I have been trying to understand about the fittings on the grreenworks cordless washer

and re-read a couple of pages back about "Direct Hoses"

If i knew the thread size it would be easier to get the correct adaptor

but on the direct hose website, i haven't a clue which "quick release" to get (stubby gun)

but i saw this on amazon (i think its 14mm from a post i saw about the electric greenworks)

using my original hose

would need to buy a stubby gun though

My advice would be to get yourself a Raceglaze water filter (or similar). Wash, rinse with water from the filter, done. Any water that is left on the surface evaporates with no water spotting whatsoever. Eliminates the need for drying towels, and saves a huge amount of effort. It's hands down the best thing I've bought for washing the car.

Had no idea such a thing existed, will look into it - cheers.

This dryer I picked up on the rainforest isn't a leaf blower, per sae. It's marketed as a car or pet dryer and there's a selector switch for heated air. It's filtered too, I believe.

Agree with the previous post about a ceramic coating making things easier. My car has PPF on the bonnet, front bumper, wings, mirrors and 'A' pillars. I do however, give it a coating of AG Polar Seal every month or so, the beading is pretty decent although not a patch on a true ceramic coating.

That said, it still takes longer than using a drying towel. Suppose the trade off is it's less damaging to the paint.

Send them pics and measurements of the high pressure hose connector and they can sort you out. No point trying to second guess.

Not sure the Greenworks is all that read a few user reviews most say the battery does not last very long (even the 40amp one!)! Think I will just stick to buckets of water for now until someone makes a decent portable washer which lasts more than 20-25 mins!

Just a quick wash to get rid of the pollen and bee poo.

Soft99 Fusso coat doing it's thing. BH touchless not even sticking to it, although I only put about 50ml in the lance with a bit of citrus pre wash.

Carpro Perl diluted 1:1 on the tyres.

TBH if my situation didn't allow for me to use a proper washer, I'd rather get a mobile valeter to do it every months. I paid £20 to get my ST done before Ford fair and they did as good a job as I'd ever do, if not better.
