The days of the 20 quid mobile valeter are long gone.Just a quick wash to get rid of the pollen and bee poo.
Soft99 Fusso coat doing it's thing. BH touchless not even sticking to it, although I only put about 50ml in the lance with a bit of citrus pre wash.
Carpro Perl diluted 1:1 on the tyres.
TBH if my situation didn't allow for me to use a proper washer, I'd rather get a mobile valeter to do it every months. I paid £20 to get my ST done before Ford fair and they did as good a job as I'd ever do, if not better.
Useful with this hobby otherwise its quite depressing I findI'm soo blind.
It all depends on your budget, but imo a pressure washer is essential, especially in winter. From there it really depends on how far you want to take it... a couple of buckets, a noodle mitt, drying towel. autoglym shampoo and a spray on wax if you want cheap and easy. If you want to take it a bit further bilt hamber or garage therapy products would be my recommendation, you cant go wrong with those brands. various detailing websites will supply everything you needEvening,
I’m looking to buy some cleaning gear but unsure what is the best/most usable products.
I don’t have a pressure washer so snow foam is a probably a no good. Is it worth investing?
I’m looking for interior/exterior but the choice is endless.

That’s grimy, got to do my wife’s car today I haven’t clayed it in about 2 years.Clayed the roof, first time in 18 months of ownership… could feel it catching through a towel when drying.
This was about 10 passes
That’s the biggest issue with clay mitts as in you can’t see what you’ve removed.Clayed the roof, first time in 18 months of ownership… could feel it catching through a towel when drying.

It's what I paid to have the outside of mine washed a few months ago. Admittedly they did knock off £5 as he's a couple of roads away. The days of the 20 quid mobile valeter are long gone.
You want to get as much off first before going over with a clay bar. So tar and glue remover and fallout remover first and then go in with clay otherwise you'll cause a lot more marring.I’ve never used Clay on any of my cars, though saying that by what your clay has collected could be worth going over mine.
I know it can cause marring and benefits from a Polish afterwards?
Usually I just chemically decontaminate with BH Korrosol and Tar Remover.
