Seems so for a pressure washer.

Tempting tbh but I might just stick with my 2 buckets and hose for the time being.

Or just order it for the lulzzzzz :D

Have seen a Nilfisk C110 for sale @ £49.99, good deal?

Yes, I paid £40 for mine many years ago and to this day still works flawlessly after being kept in the shed and being used at least once a week. It is better than any Karcher unit at close to the RRP as well having used them and seen them break.

He didn't say it has to be Megs, just that he used it?

Maybe the use of smiley emoticons wasn't enough to give away the 'in jest' tone

:confused::cool:

The gf had a ding in my car a few weeks back, finally looking to sort the damage out (run about car so not particularly fussed) any tips for where to start?

Anyone here had much experience with DoDo Lime Prime?

Got some coming and am curious how people use it as some have said they use it pre and post polish

I did use wire wool!

The remaining carbon build up is actually the weld.

Trust me there was nothing left to be taken off :)

Funny you say that, after second glancing at the picture it did look like there was a "bridge" of carbon between the lip and the inner bit :)

Looking at giving the car the works over the weekend....so someone talk to me about snow foam.

Ive only got a corsa (dont laugh too much) but will be used with my dads Altea FR as well, we have a jet washer and I assume I need a foaming lance?

Colonite 476s Wax is the biz :)[/QUOTE]

I just don't get all this beading marlarky, when I hose down my car the same thing happens. I know my car has autoglym lifeshine on it but I haven't applied anything extra to it. Can someone post a video? :o

Wash, dry and then gently start working away at the transferred paint with something like Autoglym Paint Renovator. You may want to try Super Resin Polish first, but I doubt it would shift that.

Week off work so I decided to try out one of the Meguiars Clay Bars that I've had for ages as I've got time to kill.

Sides of the car were more contaminated than the front and rear of the car which I wasn't expecting (apologies for the red hand :p ) :

First time it'd been done it quite a while though. Used some AG Tar Remover on the more stubborn bits of tar, then polished and waxed as per usual. Only to find out that I'll be driving up to Wolverhampton on Saturday which will undo all of my work, but what can you do :(
