Which Dr Leather product ?

Dr Leather > Advanced Formula Leather Cleaner
Dr Leather > Leather wipes

He has both.

He said that he used the cleaner to get a proper clean and regular "top up" with the wipes.

You don't need the wipes, just the cleaner, some micro fibre would do really.

Can you list the names of what products/brushes/cloths you used to clean your leather please?

Thanks :)

I used Dr. Leather Liquid Leather cleaner, sprayed liberally on and then massaged in with a Kiwi branded shoe polishing brush. Then removed with a "Detailers Preference" microfibre cloth. I will use the wipes say monthly just to give it a quick once over, as now ive taken most of the **** off it should be fine :)

I used the same brand of cloth and auto finesse spritz for the non-leather parts of the car, ie the metal, dashboard, plastics etc:

Yeah I buy them randomly and if they suck then just bin them. Nothing has beaten 476s for deep gloss and longevity on my paintwork yet.

Will I still need to use clay if I go over the car with trix?

Clay does things nothing else can so I imagine yes.

Run your palm along the bonnet and panels after and of you can feel micro dimples and dirt then yes, you need claying.

The panels should be smooth and feel buttery after every wash, and only a good quality wax after claying ensures that too. After the polish application of course.

Thanks. I'm putting together some products as my collection is pretty weak right now. It's going to be expensive!
