Snow foaming, or any other basic cleaning like that, shouldn't remove the wax, just the dirt on top of it!

A high consistency is needed to remove the wax with snow foam, however depending on the product and appliance, it's likely it won't ever remove all the wax, and that's where flaying comes in to remove any excess wax.

Snow foam is used in lower concentrates to remove all the dirt on top of the wax. Done correctly you can essentially clean the car without a mitt and bucket.

Would you wax every time you use Snow foam?

I'm asking coz my dad has a pressure washer that he doesn't use, so i'm going to borrow it and try some snow foam! (That means I need a lance :( )

I don't like this thread any more.

But on a related note, yesterday another 2 passengers passed comment about feeling bad by stepping into my car with shoes on because it was like they were ruining the carpets :p

I think I've done a good job at car cleaning/maintenance =]

Washed with water, dried with a towel and finished with polish.

No

Snow foam is just a pre wash and should be done every time you wash to reduce the amount of **** you have on the car that ends up in your mitt that could scratch the paintwork as you wash.

What do you lot use to clean/polish your windscreen?. Do you use anything on the wiper blades themselves?.

I use AG Fast Glass which does a good job inside and out. I've considered getting that Carlack stuff that makes the water fly off but I have a fear of only being able to cover 2/3 of the windscreen as I'm not quite lanky enough to reach the middle :D
