Purchased this and one of their pads a while back. Least effective Polish I have ever used. I've never seen it remove a single swirl! :(

That's a shame, is your paint the solid German kind? I've read/seen so many good things about this stuff on detailing world.

:( I've used it on my Volvo 850, Honda CRX*, Mx-5 and just went and had a pop at the polo.

Just now on the polo I've spent 15 minutes-ish on one small section of the bonnet and you couldn't tell I had touched it!! :( And thats following their instructions with plenty of elbow grease.

*forgot to mention, on the Honda it did remove the oxidation nicely but that was about it.

I used P1 to remove a load of deep scratches from the bonnet of my Passat with no problem, I was using a rotary though, don't think I could go back to trying to polish by hand.

I have a Black Astra, bought it 7 weeks ago, however some nice chap decided to key it, cheers pal.

Any ideas if i could get rid? they are pretty deep scratches, dont want to spend the money on a respray it covers the door panel and the rear section (3 door car).

Must not buy any more !

(The only thing I really need is the PERL stuff and the applicator pads)

Theres a great new series on the Drive Network on youtube at the moment called Drive Clean

The Tutorial on Claying is a good watch for anybody that hasn't clayed before and is thinking of trying it:

Jesus how much have you spent in the last few weeks?

off my head

DAS pro - £100
Wool mitt - £19
Ironx - £15
Rainx - 7
FK1000 - £18

I did't check out the stuff above btw...The only thing I really need is the PERL as my plastic exterior has some white patches, none of the polish or wax can cure it, i can make do without the others.
