Imagine if he decided to randomly take up Golf one day, he'd just walk into the pro shop and throw £2k at random stuff and then pitch up for his first lesson :D

Hi guys, i'm new to this cleaning business stuff.

Basically can you recommend me a good (not to expensive) clay bar and spray wax to get me started please.

How long does a clay bar last also?

I've tried a couple of different wash mitts and i still keep going back to the Meguiar's microfibre washmitt.

Got it on the 3 for 2 on car care stuff at Halfords so worked out about £6 or something.

I've played golf, friend's clubs and I suck at it, thank god! Haha

Depends entirely on the size of your car, and how much contaminants are on your car. If its clean you won't even use one bar. I've seen cars on detailing world where 1 bar has managed 1 door before its full of ****.

Theres a great new series on the Drive Network on youtube at the moment called Drive Clean

The Tutorial on Claying is a good watch for anybody that hasn't clayed before and is thinking of trying it:

Oh ok, well i've never clayed before, i've just got an A3.

So basically wash the car normally, then lubricate and clay?

See my post above :)
