What dilution ratio do you people use for Bilberry? I've had it for ages and while it's great, it seems to dry out very quickly on my wheels before I get chance to scrub it off, unlike the YouTube videos where it stays wet for up to 5 minutes?

1:3 - 1:5 depending on brake pads fitted. It will remove wheel wax/sealant as a side note.

Rained this evening and the Coli 476 is good stuff in that the water just stay off it. Got home in the rain (was raining while driving) and stopped when I got home. The car was practically dry !

I tried cleaning a car once. I gave it a quick once over (hose no pressure washer) to get rid of loose stuff.

Then I used a 3 in 1 mix with waxing stuff with a clean sponge. Washed all over, rinse, and applied again before the final wash.

Didn't make any sodding difference.

Was I doing something wrong? The paint just doesn't seem to be vibrant at all. Quite dull. :/

Anyone?

I've got black powder coated wheels, and they seem to attract all my brake dust and within 1-2 days they're filthy again. They're a pain to clean, it won't rinse off, so does anyone have any suggestions for a sealant/wax for powder coated black wheels?

Considering getting this..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-...369727674&sr=8-2&keywords=silverline+polisher

Which polishing pads should I buy for it?

I have Autoglym SRP

This is what I do..

snow foam
rinse
2 bucket wash
rinse
dry
autoglym srp
poorboys sealant

I currently do the polish / wax by hand.

I have a car to practice on, I'll clay it first after the 2 bucket wash as it hasn't been cleaned for years.

When I bought my first car (Cinquecento), it looked like that. Half a day later with some T-Cut (I was 17, detailing wasn't a word that featured in my vocabulary at the time :D ) and it was red again. :)

Got in my car at the weekand and my zip caught my leather steering wheel, it's left little dashed white marks, I've put leather conditioner on the wheel in the hope the leather swells slightly to hide them but in the event it doesn't; Is there any way to darken the appearance of the dashes?
