I'm going to snow foam my car for the first time over the next week. Could someone recommend a good product?

I've used Autobrite Magifoam, but am on the verge of running out. Was going to try Autosmart Actimousse next, heard good things about it.

Whatever you do, avoid AutoFinesse Avalanche. Absolutely useless.

I recently used ValetPro Citrus Pre Wash instead of snow foam and found the results to be much better and less messy as well. Would recommend it. Think my Snow Foam lance is resigned to the shelf.

I applied it with a pump sprayer, but you can use a foam lance, or a pressure sprayer system.

Actimousse Plus if you want it to actually do some cleaning other than look pretty, if you're paranoid about LSP stripping Ultramousse if you're paranoid about chrome trim Hazsafe.

This is why I try not to park under trees :(
It's even on the tyre!!

Really?
I wanted to try that, heard it's more effective than snow foam, but didn't want the lance to become redundant.

How do you use it with the foam lance? Just dilute it into the bottle as you would with foam and spray the whole car?

I believe you put it into the lance bottle neat and it dilutes it to approx 1:30 as its sprayed (depends on your lance).

You can get a decent 8L pump sprayer off ebay for £10, if you want to use it in a more concentrated solution.

Coming back to my question about the California Duster, what are people's ways of dealing with this -

I washed it on Sunday, I don't think we've had rain and from 10m or so, it actually still looks shiny. I wondering about a gazebo type car port?

I noticed the same sort of dust on my car this morning.
Thought it unusual, rain doesn't usually leave such deposits. Guessing there must be a lot of dust or sand high in the atmosphere?

You can't fight that. I get it too.

Only thing you could do is pressure wash the car off but even then it is a bit stubborn to get off.

It's sand from the Sahara or somewhere in Africa I think.

It's not the wax. It's the dust in the air when some rain falls, it's not heavy enough to bead or sheet off so simply sits there until it dries leaving the dust spots. It doesn't happen all the time but climate conditions do vary.

You cannot fight it if your car is parked outside really. It could happen when your car is not under the canopy, for example.
