White cars are hard to polish because you can't see the polish. Black cars are easy.

I use cleanyourcar for all my detailing purchases, their customer service is exceptional.

Indeed it is. I've ordered a couple of things from them and they've delivered things next day even when I've ordered late. They are also only too happy to offer advice on suitable products. Great company.

Need suggestions for cleaning the windows. Been using fast glass as its not badly priced but any other suggestions for non tinted windows? Also my meguires 8 year old waffle towell needs replaced are they still the goto brand?

The best MF towels I have used came from Aldi!

Not a bulk pack unfortunately but a pack of 3, they are very deep and plush and don't have a label or a border of stitching around the edge. Great towels.

Best way to make my life easier when cleaning it? My 330d touring after 1,500 miles has created so much brake dust it's insane.

I'm going to clean the car again this weekend, figured I'd remove all the wheels and treat them.

Any ideas on what to use to clean and then treat?

Iron X should help with removing brake dust. A clay bar might be useful too.

Iron-x.

Then a coating of something like CarPro Dlux or gtechniq C5.

Should then just need car shampoo and a brush.

agnes, you'd need something like Dragons Breath / TRIX to remove any iron/tar/brake dust deposits from the alloys.

The method I used to do my rears (fronts are yet to be done) was:

Wash.
TRIX
Rinse
Wash
Clay bar
Wash
Dry
Polish
Wax

They're now gleaming and are pi$$ to clean.
