I'm yet to try any Auto Finesse products, are they good?

Going to buy a few bottles of Meguiars Ultimate wash and wax car shampoo later, from reviews I've read/watched it seems to be better than gold class.

I use meguiars perfect clarity glass cleaner (think that is what its called). I find it much better than fast glass and leaves a nice finish with no smears.

Tripple is good, I like the Vision too. But most of them are very expensive.

Going to wash my S-Max seats this weekend, kids have stained them with drinks etc, is a Vax after a scrub with a nailbrush OK to use?

Thanks

Got wiper judder. Clean the screen perfectly without smearing, just a bit juddery. Used to use rain x on the screen which cured this but I recently finished my bottle. Any recommendations on cures for wiper judder?

Cheers

Weird as I had the exact opposite. RainX on the screen made my wipers judder.

Noticed over the weekend that the fiesta has a bit of lacquer peel on what is otherwise a totally unmarked bonnet.

I'd rather avoid getting it sprayed if I can make it look significantly better - anyone ever done this before? Thinking some wet and dry will take the hard edges off then run over it with some finishing compound to make it a big less obvious? (It's not very noticeable just now, one benefit to a recession white finish)

I have little to no intention of trying to top up the clear coat on that area, if it gets much worse I'll just have the bonnet sprayed

You can't fix lacquer peel in any way that doesn't involve a respray I'm afraid.

Are you sure it's actually clear coat failure and not just etching from some bird poo or something?

I'd need to look at it again but it would seem too large an area for that, plus there are noticeable edges if I run my finger over it and there is a clear colour difference if looked at from an angle

I'll have look in the docunentation, the corrosion warranties are normally quite long not sure about regular defects etc or if something like that would realistically even be covered.

Washed my car at the weekend for the first time in a few months and its just reminded me how terrible a job the wheel refurb was. How the previous owner was happy with it I will never know.

Anyone have a recommendation for any where in Kent/south to get them refurbished again, hopefully not by a blind child or pet hamster this time ? (Hopefully some place where I can just drop the car off for a few days).

Thanks

Lepsons in Gillingham are renowned in this area.
Also heard RimTec in Meopham mentioned a few times as pretty good.

Whereabouts are you if your don't mind me asking? I was born in Dartford and grew up nearby :)

Thanks, seen both of them mentioned on a quick google search.

I live in sutton at hone so ill be surprised if you dont know where that is.

Lepsons finishes look great for a few months, then quickly go downhill. They did the wheels on my E46 and initially they looked fantastic, I was over the moon with the finish, but it was definitely less durable than the stock finish. Would possibly look ok if you religiously cleaned them every week, which I couldn't be bothered to do.

Saying that, I don't know who I would recommend in this area.

That feels me with confidence :( The amount of money this will cost I really don't what a finish that disappears in a few years let alone a few months.
