Also need a Vacuum for the car. Have been looking at the black and decker you can plug into the 12v port on car. I would need a very long extension lead otherwise.

Isn't a dc07 an upright hoover? It'd be knocking against the sill while you're trying to clean the inside
I got this one, which I think does a pretty good job. Mind you, I think it was on offer for about £35 at the time.

I must admit I had this this one that plugged into the cigarette lighter and I didn't rate it's suction at all. I changed to a mains powered handheld vacuum and I felt as though the car was actually being cleaned.Is the suction decent enough for doing a car?
