Get a second hand dc07 with a 12v inverter.

Thanks I already have a dc24. Would that run with an inverter off the car?

Isn't a dc07 an upright hoover? It'd be knocking against the sill while you're trying to clean the inside

Yea not sure I want something that bulky.

I got this one, which I think does a pretty good job. Mind you, I think it was on offer for about £35 at the time.

Can you give some more feedback on that please?

To be fair I've only used it once in the car, but it sits on it's charger, had enough charge to do the car with no problems. The 'neck' unwraps from around the body of the vacuum, so it's quite versatile. It also has a couple of extra attachments for getting into tight spots.

Do you happen to know if it comes with a long attachment similar to the Dyson ones (DC59/DC44)? I'm looking for something we can also use in the house that's good for my Dad to use too.

Emergency wash situation today... parked next to a damn sprinkler at the girlfriend's... entire car covered in white splodges from the minerals in the water... thank god for wax.

Hi all.

Just bought a Qashqai which I would like to start and look after by properly cleaning it.

I have a Karcher jetwasher (although it has 2 types of lances) one has broken, it is the one which you can turn the end and make more powerful or less for when using the detergent bottle attached. So will replace that lance soon.

What other bits do I need.

ie: buckets, sponges, wax, wheel cleaner, dashboard cleaner etc,
car has fabric seats. Also where to buy from.

Just would like to get the right bits first off.

Thank you.

Colour is Metallic purple, although it looks pretty much black.

Thank you and have a merry Christmas

Not sure you are doing the whole advice thing too well here o_O

People have advised that the 12v Ciggy plug ones are crap and the battery one was good enough. Think im following the advice correctly by getting a 18v battery one?

Also I live in a top floor flat so a mains vac is not really an option.
