I'd recommend both.

I use an Auto Finesse drying towel but there's a mains powered blower for £10.99 which I'm considering buying as the car is always protected.

If the blower is the one that everyone on Detailing Addicts / Detailing Central has been banging on about, it got the price put up to £20, then everyone still bought it and it sold out so they refunded loads of people.

I see it's benefits, but I just don't understand if I need both or one and towel wise what's best. If people say that certain towels are so good why would you need a blower? But then if they suggest the blower gets rid of all water why do you need a towel?

Towels are good but it still contacts with the paint so COULD inflict swirls etc whereas a blower will not. A blower, however, will only work on protected paint with good hydrophobic abilities.

I would definitely be interested in a blower. A bit over the top I know, but all TTs seem to suffer from water dripping down from the side mirror housing, no matter how many times you wipe with a microfibre.

I've even gone to town with compressed air before. :o

I think swirls are a fact of life. It is impossible to keep a car completely 'swirl free', does not matter how many buckets you use. As soon as you make contact with the paint you run the risk of inflicting swirls.

Cleaned two weeks worth of filth, now it pops.

What's going to be the better product of these three, ideally I'm looking for something to enhance the pearl effect?

FinishKare 1000P or Collinite 915 or ODK Sterling

Thoughts on gtechniq? After something more durable and reselling than my current HD wax. There is a world of nano coatings that I know nothing about :p

Gtechniq is amazing. It is what I want if I get my car detailed. I'd pay someone else to do it though because I think you have to let it cure like 24-48 hours in a dust free garage.

GTechniq what? That's like saying what do you think of Audi when in reality you want a motorbike :p

GTechniq do a load of different products but without knowing what your paintwork is like, your budget and what you're actually after it's pointless anyone recommending.

Budget isn't an issue, paint work spotless (and white). Was looking at the exo2, but not sure what else I would need.

I know this has been covered but can't find it, I've just ordered a 3M headlight kit as they've gone cloudy again after I did them ~18 months ago. I'm fairly sure after reading recently that it's because I didn't seal them after sanding and polishing. Can anyone recommend products and what I should do?
