Quick detailer and a microfibre cloth.

The wipes aren't great and a microfibre is better on the paint which won't be clean when you wipe.

Used sonax brilliant shine detailer for the first time - best wet wax I have used, fantastic shine on the car.

Collinite No. 845 from about 2 months ago, which I topped up with Aqua wax about a month ago. BSD about 2 weeks ago.

Rained today.

^^great beading :)

Out of interest, how many sqirts did you Spray on your bonnet? I must have used too much as it left a bit of a smeary finish.

I was quite liberal, quite a few on each panel. Must have been a lot on my microfibre towel by the end. Can't see any smears.

Nice smell too!

First time I've ever polished and waxed a car, probably the first time this car has been cleaned properly too! Started to rain halfway through waxing, so I got some beading photos too...

Pretty nice beads! :)

What would you guys use to remove residue from debadging? I took the 'Octavia' and '1.9 TDI' badges off of my Octavia, and cleaned off all of the gunk, but there is still a faint outline which you can see when the light hits it. I've tried several random cleaning products, a couple of different polishes, brake cleaner, petrol, the lot... Next resort is wet sanding or putting the badges back! :p

Probably been asked a hundred times already - what do you guys recommend to clean bird poop off the car when theres no water available?

In the past years my car's been okay and doesn't usually get targetted, the last few weeks however, my cars often gone from purple to a mess off whatever colour food the birds around work have been eating that day.

I was thinking a diluted TFR in a spray bottle would do the trick but happy to hear if there's anything else that can be recommended.

Thanks.

have you tried baby wipes cheep and easy to get and work wonders for a quick emergence

quick pic of the beading after 2 coats of CarPro CQuartz UK toped with gtechniq c2v3.The black trim has 2 coats of gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer

So I've just had my car cleaned and bad news thanks to bird poo on the bonnet. I should have got it cleaned sooner but been too busy. Also, looks like the film is coming off near my headlights? Am I doomed, I was taking pictures to sell it! Any tips or cost implications to get this fixed?
