The Direction on the BSD bottle states - Leather dry, then apply.

I would apply it on a cleaned, dried car, just make sure it is cool and not hot.

Sun's out today. Car still shiny and clean looking after the 2 days of heavy rain thanks to BSD.

Well my order for my mitt and snow foam Lance turned up today. But I have hit a slight bump. I haven't got any snow foam.

Going to take a punt at the hi foam wash from car plan trade (essentially demon foam. At about 10 quid for 5 litres, it can't be that bad.

I made a big mistake and wiped dry bird poo off my bonnet without soaking it first, it scratched in a circular motion! There pretty light scratches but visible, then i made another mistake of using a "scratch remover" applied to much and now theres the scratches + a white marks where the paint has kinda gone! what an idiot :(

Whats the best way to minimise this now? some good polish regularly? or? any reccomendations for my idiocy?

I use Valet Pro Advanced Neutral Snow Foam at the moment but I have to use it neat in order to get any sort of dwell time with Karcher K4 and Karcher foam lance. Does the foam lance itself make a difference? I bought the Karcher lance before I'd read anything about proper detailing

Just ordered myself a DAS6PRO from CYC.
Always wanted a decent machine after borrowing a cheap non-branded one from a friend for a previous car years ago and being amazed by how easy it was.

As I've ordered the machine alone, I'm hoping someone can advise what a noob like me should purchase in terms of pads and chemicals to start off with?

Got one car in the household which I'm hoping to polish out some deeper scuffs and scratches on and mine which could do with all the swirls polishing out.

Thanks!

Another BSD user here.

You can tell BSD users, they are the ones smiling when it's raining :-)
