nobody has the "correct" answer to the question of what to use in your snowfoam.

Most people on detailing world prefer to use a snowfoam, myself included.

Dont think theres many that use hyperwash. But PB finds it works for them.

Ok well I think I will go with the snowfoam if that is more popular..also it is cheaper and I am spending way to much on this stuff and looking over my shoulder to make sure the wife doesn't catch me buying more :D

oh best place to get some please as PB doesn't sell it ??

thanks

Hd foam Lance and some Snow foam will be arriving tomorrow :)

I should get out more I am actually getting excited about this coming:D

Got mine last week from CYC, currently trying different mixes, 50% snow foam,30% Megs Gold Class and 20% hot water as a mix. Works alright.

I trust PB over any other detailers :)

why ?

just because PB are good, doesnt mean there word should be taken as gospel. For a start, they use a hot water pressure washer with water at 40 degrees. This will drastically increase their cleaning power, meaning you may get the same results as them using a cold water pressure washer, requiring different products ...

because their work is absolutely outstanding with people coming from all over the country to use them and having a solid booked calendar months in advance, they are Zymol trained among other things, they get fantastic products in that nobody else can get their hands on, they have outstanding knowledge of products and techniques and their customer service is unparalleled.

Do you not just use the snow foam then ? or have I missed something from what you said I am now guessing you have to mix it with your regular shampoo ??

I thought you used snow foam rinsed of then used two bucket method and shampoo??

The idea with foaming is that one weekend you give your car a full work over using the preffered two bucket method, get it all clayed, cleaned ploshed then waxed/sealed etc. Then, when its got a little dirty again the following week, a quick foam and rinse should be enough to clean the car without much intervention from a hand wash, if any.

It can aid in cleaning a filthy car to start with, but you could be disappointed with the results using it that way round.

another general "detailing" question. why do people do it?

it is clearly a costly process/service. on certain cars i can see that it would actually benefit the value/residual of the car itself because it is graet visiual condition, but practically none of us have cars like that.

so do most people do it to protect their paint/ because they like the look of it/ because they enjoy polishing/cleaning/detailing/ or because they straight forward have ocd?

personally... i do it for protection and i enjoy it to an extent
