Das 6 v2 for only a bit more than that Argos job above.
The actual polishers are not that expensive but the price of all the extras you need bumps up the initial outlay.
Would you mind speccing me a list of things I'd need for a noob setup?

Easier with a firm spongy thing though IMO.

Thanks. Yeah I have a whole box of meguiars soaps, clays, autoglym Polish, waxes etc. Just want to give a random orbital polisher a whirl.Essentially what Havana_UK posted, though I would also be adding a smaller backing plate for small areas and the relevant pads. Possibly some spare pads too if you ruin some.
Do you already have the basic cleaning stuff? Anything?

I'm sure this has been asked loads of times, but 631 pages later...
Any suggestions for what I should buy to get best results for minimum effort? I don't have much time to spend cleaning my car, so I'm looking for 'bang for buck' products here! So far I have a couple of microfibre cloths, and a hosepipe Cheers in advance.
It's not something which is worthwhile IMO. Will mask 50% of swirls but only for a matter of days, and doesn't really do anything to enhance gloss depth over just using a wax alone.
Got some Poorboys Blackhole to play with this weekend. Looking forward to seeing what sort of a finish it leaves me with.
That looks lovely in the sun.
