Sio2 yeah, but i use carpro hydro2 and reload, but yeah best applied to cleaned and clayed paintwork rather than over wax (essence is the polish that goes with these too when it needs it)
Might give these a go although what's the benefit of using both hydro2 and reload?

Also do you still dry after using it or just let it bead off, I know you don't need to buff with a cloth just spray on then wash off.

They just help build up multiple layers. Hydro2 is really easy to use and gets in to places you cant reach with a cloth, reload is glossier and you can even mix it in with ech2o so you can clean and coat at the same time.

Hydro2 you apply to a wet panel and then blast it again, but yeah you will want to dry it after to prevent streaking. Reload you can just spray on and wipe off.

All the carpro stuff is complimentary but can be used in different ways - hydro2 is easier to use when you've just done a snow foam wash as the car is wet, reload is easier to use after a rinseless. Both should last 3-6 months anyway but I tend to overlap them every 2-3 as they are so easy.

Getting to grips with my Lance :p

My nozzle was spraying really wide for some reason...I didn't have a clue what I was doing! :p

Grab it at the front, and twist firmly in one direction or the other to improve your aim :p At least then all the white stuff will end up on your car :D

Interested to hear how that goes..

I have some Autogylm Intense Tar Remover which is a naphtha based solvent. Not something I want to get too close for any period with plastic (depending on the type!).

I've seen Trix work well on a white car and not cause a problem with staining however I'd be interested in what it says about any chrome trim..

I've read very mixed reviews on Autogylm Tar Remover.

Its arriving today, so will get some before, during and after pics this week when i get chance to wash it. No chrome on my car, so that should be ok. There is not a huge amount of tar on it at the minute, so didnt want to purchase an iron remover and a tar remover, so thought I would give this a go. Hopefully it wont be a waste of money.

out of interest i looked on the site it says

"All of our connectors are made of quality brass to ensure quality fitment and Karcher fitments are made of quality hard wearing plastic."
