No more towel drying for me!

I was interested until I saw the £100 bit! Towel will do. :)

Are these very effective?
I've considered them in the past. I live in a very hard water area, and find it difficult to dry the car without leaving water marks sometimes.
But - it's also quite a big cost for the convenience.

Just washed my car in the scorching heat.

Possibly the most stress free clean I've ever done.

Water before

Water after

Car left to naturally dry, no buffing or towel drying of any sort:

Not a single water spot!!!

Worth every penny.

I live in a hard water area too, I just use rinseless wash (ech2o) and never have any water spots, and a rinseless is easier than getting the hose/pressure washer and everything out as well

anyone ever try Zaino products? they dont seem as big a name as some brands but appear to come out the best on many car sites.
was thinking of getting the z7 show car wash and the Z2 car sealant.
Was also looking at Meguiars Gold class shampoo wondering if its as good as the Zaino products if anyone has tried both?
Have been using Autoglym shampoo and then moved on to valet pro advanced poseidon. Nothing special about either imo so looking at a change.
Also is there any sealant or polish that can be applied to stop this annoying dust layer that seems to settle on the paint this time of year? i only washed my car 2 days ago and it looks like its been down a dirt track already.

Just take an air blower to the car. The dust layer is just pollen. Lots and lots of pollen. So much pollen. I hate pollen.

I need to buy some more wax as I've almost finished my tin of FK 1000p. I was very happy with it, easy to apply, great finish and beading and comes in a big tin. I'm tempted to buy another.

Any recommendations for a new one?

Is 476s better?

I've recently had some body work completed which involved re-spraying the front a rear bumpers and rear quarter, however this nice fresh paint has shown how tired the rest of the paint is. How long after a re-spray should I wait before going over the entire car with a DAS6?

Guys I want to order a Das6 pro. Uses are to correct the bad paintwork on my vauxhall astra and future minor polishes of cars I may own.

You can scratch the astra paint with your nail so it can't be very hard.

Which would you choose from this lot and why?

M105 followed by 205 is generally a safe bet. They do a kit with orange and white hexlogic pads on CYC.

As robbo says this kit is a very good starter DAS-6 PRO - Meguiars Hex Logic Kit .But i would get a few extra pads and a 3.5 inch backing plate with pads to go with it for tighter areas.I got the same kit for doing my nissan with supper soft paint and the megs worked well and was easy to use for a first timer.

Can u recommend a 3.5inch backing plate as I looked but was abit lost on which to choose.

Are the hex pads the ones to go for also?
