Does yours have the standard M135i exhaust? If so it's painted tips so just wash it as usual.
I use Chemical Guys SRP for the tyres (and all plastics/rubbers). It gives a nice black look but not too shiny.
Autosol for the exhaust, meguiars endurance tyre gel (never actually tried anything else as had the bottle 10 years and its still going )
AnyoneAce, and what about a wash cloth (mitt) and dry clothes....?
Personally I prefer microfiber wash mitts because lamb wool seems to fall apart from the ones I had.Anyone
Awesome, thanksPersonally I prefer microfiber wash mitts because lamb wool seems to fall apart from the ones I had.
As far as drying towels go I've got the purple monster and it's amazing.

I just bought a foam cannon too, should I get a different soap for that or just use the same I'm using in my bucket wash (Megs Ultimate Wash&Wax / Megs Gold Class)?
I use the bilt hamber concentrate stuff, seems to work well for me and you hardly need any!Whats the recommended car shampoo please gents, I know there are many but by general consensus
I'm slowly starting to accumulate bits. So far I have; two buckets, microfibre cloths, microfibre drying towel, microfibre wash mitt, wheel brush, Autoglym Interior Shampoo and Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care.
mine started falling apart after 5 washesI've had the same Meguiars lambswool mitt for 2 years and it's still pretty much like new
Weird. Your paintwork must be like sandpaper
