I've got a Nilfisk C110, is the Autobrite lance (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lance-Nilf...UTF8&qid=1522448907&sr=8-5&keywords=autobrite) generally the best one to go for? The reviews i've read vary quite a bit for how long it will dwell on the car, and its foaming capability....
What about the Autobrite Snow Foam (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autobrite-...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CMZYYT4YV134EJWXV1DC), is that good, or should I use what comes with the lance and get some other Snow Foam?

Thanks.

I'll be honest, any foam lance even cheap ebay £16 jobbie does the job :) foam lance is foam lance, there's no magic in it and as long as it has brass connectors and is maintained properly it'll last.

as far as snow foam goes, many are around but many do not work at all, this guy -;

has got some very good reviews, autobrite snow foam is very good all in but for a cheaper option that's just as good and one I personally use is bilt hamber auto foam. Under £25 for 5l.

The autobrite Lance is overrated imho - it's almost exactly the same as any generic lance, as mentioned that can be bought on eBay or e.g.

For snow foam I've used valet pro pH neutral since I got a lance 2 years ago, never had an issue or reason to by anything else. Foams reasonably well and if left to dwell for a while removes a decent amount of dirt.

Dont know why people rate bilt hamber foam so much. In every way ive tried its no better than a TFR. The top ones which actually sludged the dirt off the car were Magifoam, Avalanche and Sams Active Foam. Everything else has been a bit of a waste of time imho in terms of why you use a foam.

I've had good success with it, seems to remove 80% of dirt, I've tried a few other foams before and for the price this does the best job. I have a couple bottles of autobrite stuff, magifoam and superfoam but haven't had the chance to try it yet. I've also used gtecnik foam and it's alright but no better than bilt hamber.

Guys, looks after many years of use, some of cleaning kit is finishing, whats the current favourite wash and APC, and aside from snowfoam is there any other pre wash type product worth considering.

Im currently using CG Citrus lemon wash and Megs APC, i like to buy in bulk to save money. Should i stick with them or go for something else?

for a new apc try Koch Chemie Green Star good price and very effective cleaning have started using this and missing the snowfoam out as it dose a better job all round

I've got the Autobrite Lance and Snow foam sample in the basket ready to order. How long/many washes does the 500ml of Snow Foam last?

Also, what drying towel is everyone using now? Years ago I bought one of these (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/micro...38-x-28-microfibre-drying-towel/prod_154.html) but it isn't the best IMO, or its just lost drying capability over the years, so wondered if there was much else out there people would recommend...? Are these (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washi...bre-purple-monster-edgeless-xl/prod_1297.html) any good?

Thanks, I see bilt Hamber surfex gets decent reviews. My snowfoam is running out and tbh I’m not sure I’ll replace it if the apc works as well. I hate cleaning the foam up afterwords lol

The ValetPro stuff I have says to mix 300ml to 700ml water, so 500ml would last 2 washes if you used 250ml a time, but different brands may have different mixes

I've got http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/micro...-huge-39-fluffy-39-drying-towel/prod_634.html which seems to work well enough.

300/700 valet pro is enough to foam 2 cars in my experience, so worth bearing in mind that different foams also have different coverage as well.

Imho to save on shipping + while they have the offer on the go, grab a 5l bottle of magifoam.

Can anyone advise which connector I need for the Autobrite lance? I've got a Nilfisk C110 but there are numerous connectors listed for the Nilfisk....

I brought one of these back in 2013 and still use it to this day although it has now taken a bit of a back seat. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/micro...ls/sonus-blue-perl-drying-towel/prod_304.html

This is my newest one I brought after a recommendation and It works very well indeed, perhaps even better than the Sonus one, I can dry my whole car and still can't wring a drop from it. Well worth the money. https://anachem-automotive.com/products/big-yellow
