Anyone bought one of these Pressure Washers from B&Q?

The reviews seem to be mostly from people who cleaned their patios, but would it be suitable for car cleaning? (i.e. unlikely to strip the paint/able to take a foam lance etc.)

Lame as the anecdote goes, with pressure washers buy cheap buy twice seems more relevant than most.

Spend a little dosh, get a decent brand, Nilfisk is my go to, and be set for many moons to come.

I'm sure it would be fine, however they will be built to a price and that will likely include compromises like plastic pumps (rather than metal as Nilfisk use) and so won't be as long lasting.

You may also have difficulty finding a snow foam lance etc for it, as will depend on who exactly it is made by / what fittings it uses for accessories.

Ooh look at the shiny.

Here are some oversized pictures from the detail guy before it gets covered in bugs/rain when I pick it up tomorrow.
Stone chipped the buggery but at least the swirls have gone. I think the previous owner washed it with wire wool.
No more cigarillo smell either \o/

Anyone recommend decent price Iron and tar remover, I got that Trix iron and tar remover which is supposed to do both but was poor and leaked everywhere.

Car has not been washed properly for a year!

I was thinking Iron X and supernatural tar and glue remover.

Das Auto still looking all right after nine years hard labour.

Today it got a 'detail' consisting of:

Autoglym Polar Blast snow foam
Wash with Meguiar's gold class
Bilt Hamber clay (amazing - first time I've used clay)
Wash again with Meguiar's gold class
Wheels treated with Autoglym wheel cleaner and sealed with AG wheel protection
Tyre treatment Meguiar's endurance gel
AG Super Resin Polish
AG Extra Gloss Protection
Meguiar's glass cleaner

Photo is with Note 8 in HDR mode with no other processing.

Used that car plan stuff on my black wet car. Was a bit smeary so tried again with a new dry cloth and now dry paint but still looked smeary (but was going dark and damp)

Will see how it looks in the morning. Maybe I over applied. Read people having similar online though and they fixed with some quick detailing spray.
