Apply it on a dry car. You can sort of use it as a mediocre drying aid when you already have a layer on it, but otherwise it just smears exactly as you've described.

Cool thanks. If it’s a mess tomorrow should I use a quick detailer. Car is 3months old so paint hasn’t been treated to wax

I'd give it a quick wash and then apply it to a dry car. Quick detailer will tidy up the mess but wont offer any real protection, and with the sealant applied badly it wont do much either.

Quick wash then i tried PoorBoys - Black Hole followed by AG super resin extra gloss

Why would you put SRP on after Black Hole? The latter is a very good glaze, for former a very weak polish with abrasives in. SRP will have pulled out and cut off some of the glaze, so you'll have a worse finish now than if you'd have just gone straight to sealant after the glaze.

Looks good all the same but it's a waste of product and you could probably get even better results without that step.

Gonna try snow foaming today with my Auto Brite HD Lance and foam. What do people do for their wheels? Spray on and leave solution on with snow foam.over the top, or do wheels completely before starting snow foaming?

I spray wheels with cleaner and leave it whilst I go and sort out the snow foam lance. Then I rinse the wheels with the pressure washer. After that, apply snow foam to the whole car, including wheels. Leave that a few minutes while sorting out buckets with shampoo. Then go over the whole car with the PW, then wash it by hand, going over the wheels again if necessary with normal shampoo.

I normally foam the whole car (wheels included) then let it dwell whilst I sort my wheel bucket. Then spray down just the wheels and clean them whilst the foam does its job on the rest of the car. Then I’ll rinse the car down and give it a 2 bucket wash.

Used autobrite abyss for the first time today. The results are impeccable, but my God it's not easy to use. A small amount is literally 3 sprays for the entire car.

Assuming you use a pressure washer anyway, it's not really that much hassle is it? Fill bottle with snowfoam fluid and water, clip to pressure washer, spray on. Done :p

For me the hassle is all in the pressure washer, getting the hose out, the extension lead etc. all takes longer than filling the foam lance.

Redid it in the morning with a light spray after the paint had a bit of sun on it. Smearing went away and well impressed with the beading and ability to stop dirt sticking

Missed a bit but shows how well it works for something that takes a few minutes to apply.

Just washed my R8.

Soooooooo many chips
Soooooooo many swirls
Soooooooo many marks on my once newly done wheels

WHY MEEEEEEEE

I think these potholes must have scratched my wheels because I don’t recall kerb them at all...found 2 of them to have rather deep marks.
