Its so nice :( I cant beleive how clean it is for a 7 year old car (I also cant beleive how old it is, arghghg, it was pretty new when I got it!). It'll be a state again by the I do 170 miles up the M5.

Pfft, 7 years. Barely ran in and all that. Before recent events, I drove my almost 20 year old car 500 miles a week, and got it looking spotless every weekend :D

Got my Sonus sheepskin washmitt, Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and Collinite No. 476S today.

Just had a whizz with the Bilberry and wow. Nothing off the Halfrauds shelf has moved any of the crap on my wheels. This Bilberry stuff has them all spotless bar some tar in less than 15 mins with an Autogym brush and a Turtle Wax Microfibre wooly mitt. You also get a lot for your money too.

Going to give the car a full going over this weekend and get that Colliniteall over it so I don't need to make much effort for a few more washes.

I'm using Espuma Revolution at the moment, seems pretty decent. Seems a bit stronger than Bilberry too, although it is a little more harsh.

Sooo... it was hot last night and I woke at 7am on the dot this morning. Early Sunday TV just doesn't cut it anymore, so I cleaned, polished and Collinited both cars:

I am now scared to take it out of the garage because its raining and will ruin the cleanlieness :( I used someone elses car today, lol

I do this, clean my car and if the roads are wet, i'll take the GF's car

I wash my car at my mums house around the corner (Water Meter for me = lose :() and if the roads are wet when i drive it home, i'll give it another wipe down when its on the drive

Out of interest how long does it normally take you guys to clean all your cars?

If im just washing it/cleaning the inside it usually takes me about 2 hours.
If im waxing it etc about 5 hours, and my arm hurts afterwards :(

Cleaned the 1500 for the first time since I've owned it - made a hell of a difference. Took about an hour and a half in the end, just a wash with some car cleaner, quick polish of the chrome, some rubber & vinyl care, brief clean of the interior and a fast polish with some generic stuff. Unfortunately it was too hot today (blazing sun) to do any proper polishing but hey ho, still looks good.

They look like the kind of press shot they would use back in the day. The car looks mint, well done!

Do you call this one Eric?

I really hate cleaning my car sometimes. I spend ages getting the alloys nice and shiny, and then i drive it later in the day and the alloys look filthy again!

Don't brake so hard then !!

SOme cars shove dust on the alloys regardless of how hard you brake :p BMW for example will dump the dust on them daily, front wheels the most obviously meaning you'd easilly be cleaning them daily if you CBA if you drive fair distances on a day to day basis!

mine are terrible for brake dust too. Ammount of brake dust just from the 200 mile trip home was atrocious. My wheels look like theyve not been cleaned in months.

Mine are the opposite now :D ...I get very little dust on the ST's wheels compared to my old 330, that used to chuck tons of the stuff on them.

Any of you keen detailers in the south fancy giving my car a good go over. Really want to get the paint work up to scratch but dont fancy spending £500 + :p and really dont have a clue where to start off :p

Love my snow foam lance, mix my snow foam with a little Megs Gold Class [about 1:10 mix]

Seems to remove more of the stubborn dirt. Just ordered 5 litres of Bilberry wheel cleaner as im sick of spending ages scrubbing the Super Leggeras.
