Any recommended bundles worth considering?

My mother had her new car detailed and ceramic coated, but doesn't have any cleaning stuff bar a Karcher pressure washer + snow foam adapter.

Ideally looking for something that includes snow foam, shampoo, quick detailing spray with ceramic in it, super safe wheel cleaner, mitt, wheel brush, drying towel, micro fibres and whatever else would be useful for a noob.

She won't be one to apply wax, clay, etc. These is focused on maintenance washes.

Thanks :)

Haven’t really seen any bundles that wouldn’t need tweaking or coming with things you don’t need. Can’t go wrong with Bilt Hamber stuff.

Take advantage of the sale going on in Euro Car Parts. Some of the Autobrite stuff is excellent value atm.

Your Mother probably won't be as particular as me, so a bundle will probably do but I would personally buy each of these options based on what I've tested.
  • Shampoo - CarPro reset, whilst I've not tested every shampoo out there, out of the ones I've tried this one 'wakes up' the Gtechniq CSU Coating I have on my car the most
  • Snow Foam - Bilt Hamber Touch-Less, I wouldn't even bother with other snow foams outside of Bilt Hamber. BH foams are runny and don't foam like others but that's the point, they just clean extremely well
  • Wheel Cleaner - If regular cleaning, Garage Therapy One Wheel Shampoo. If not regular, might need something with a fall out remover in it and I recommend Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel
  • Wheel Brush - Depends on the wheels and what you can fit into the spokes. I use a Meguiars wheel brush as my wheels are pretty open and I can fit it in. I would only recommend not buying cheap imitation wheel woolies off Amazon as they fall apart. I actually use a Halfords wheel mitt (green and shaped like a glove), as it's tight to my hand unlike other clunky wheel mitts that don't allow good dexterity
  • QD - Not sure, I've not used any to recommend
  • Mitt for body work - CarPro DabDab is my favourite and I've tried loads! Off the top of my head I have the Meguiars lambs wool, a noodle mitt from Armor All, large Microfibre pad, Auto Finesse MF mitt. DabDab is my favourite as it's not natural like the lambs wool so you can chuck it in the washing machine, has a loop for your wrist so can quickly flip to a cleaner side to reduce having to rinse and reload as often and the core is like a memory foam and holds lots of shampoo
  • Towel - Whatever dual twisted loop towel you can find with a relatively high GSM
  • Microfibre - Edgeless 350GSM towels are good all rounders, in2Detailing sell some in multiple quantities I think

Has anyone had much like with headlight restoration kits and if so, which one? Also which masking/bodywork tape did you use (if any)?
I used the 3m kit a while back and it worked a treat. Comes with everything you just need a drill. Make sure you use something to lacquer them afterwards otherwise it won’t take long the the sun to fade them again.

I'd be interested if you can get this sorted. I've noticed it on my car too.

It's covered in sand right now, it needs a wash but the last time I used BSD it just trapped all the sand deposits. Also has anyone noticed that a nice clean car attracts cats or foxes, judging by the paw prints all over the bonnet and roof.
Seems to work. Need to spend time doing the entire thing now.

Went over my Golf with the DA polisher at the weekend to get rid of all the marks that had been put in when the dealer washed it after the service a few months ago. It was only a couple of hours so not a 100% job but looks miles better now. The metalic flake seems to have more pop in the sunlight than it ever did

i think your calling it sand rain, all those marks left behind from the rain we had
I think that response was to me. Wouldn't waterless wash be a point where you could potentially add scratches?

Needs a proper wash really, like a snow foam/pre wash and then a contact wash after.

@LiE what did you use on the grill again? It came out really good and I'll give it a go on mine. Thanks

This:
Reviews were mixed but Chemical Guys heavy water spot remover gets tons of praise. Will give it ago but I’m doubtful.

At first when I started rubbing it in nothing happened. Then I used a more generous amount and rubbed back and forth 15-20 times and it just removed it.

Awesome, it was one of the kits i was looking at. Just out of interest, what UV protection did end up using? As it seems to be the one thing missing from a lot of the kits.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a brush that's good for cleaning interior trim (plastic/vinyl - not leather)?

I have some very soft carbon collective brushes but they're almost too soft, and are better suited for the exterior of the car to clean around emblems and badges.

I'm after something that's got some stiffness to it, but is safe on interior surfaces and won't scratch.

Perhaps this?
