The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

Finding really bad FPS drops on this on both my 4850 & 4870. Its a very uneven frame rate. hope ATI release a fix soon as its very annoying!
 
I have got this game..BUT I thought it was a open ended game!
I just had my mate in FL call me and told me it was not a open ending game.

If it is not..I am well peed off..

EDIT= Oh just found out its NOT a open ended game like Oblivion..

How is it not? Just run around doing missions, through wastelands of post-apocolyptic war. Struggling to survive!

I'm turning to the dark side too.

After years of saying "no FPS without a mouse!", I'm starting to enjoy more and more shooters with a 360 controller.

I blame GoW, and Dead Space, and their effortless control schemes.
 
Im quite enjoying the game so far, but even on the normal setting im finding it hard. I pick up all ammo i find and buy all from the stores that sell it yet i always end up running out of ammo, so i have to carry many weapons of all calibers.
 
Anyone having microstutter in the game?

Do the graphics get better outside, I am running on the absolute maximum ultra settings and I am underwhelmed in the vault level at the start :(

And tbh it looks the same as the ingame footage f the PS3 version :confused:

Back in the day games were about gameplay not eye candy.
 
Lets face it everyone the lunchbox is F T W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! zomg best CE ever well happy with my lunch box also the bobble head is awesome sitting right next to my screen at work now :)

My copy arrived last night and i've managed to get to Megaton. **noob question alert ** When does the armory open?? I've hung around there overnight and through to the next day - the general store and pub are open but the armory is still locked??

Great game though - thought the intro section was very original. Plays really nicely on my 8800GT too.

I did, but unfortunately the mortgage has to be paid so to be able to do that I have to work 8 hours a day :(

I started last night and only had time to set it up and play up to the point just after the G.O.A.T. test.

Well got as far as his/her 19 birthday yesterday before I called it a night..... god that early bit is long :rolleyes:

Hope to get more involved tonight...
