Is anyone finding that no players ever accept when wanting to do a "quick co-op" story mission?

The single player story is ok so far, but I can't say I'm impressed with the multiplayer elements at the moment.
 
i got this yesterday it ok i suppose but then ive played forza horizon wish i got fc4 instead.

still will give it a good few hours see what happens if i can get in to it..
 
Just got this with the nvidia deal on a 970.

Tbh i was looking to buy it anyhow, been watching twitch streams all week. Reminds me greatly of the original nfs series titles, with the in car views and the open road america.

Looking forward to it.

thats a worry for me as I was thinking about getting it but reviews and players saying the multiplayer element is kinda of meh... :(

I randomly bought this yesterday when I got that Test Drive Unlimited itch. It has actually been pretty good so far the cars become soooooooooooooo much more driveable after an hour or so of upgrades, they still aren't great but are a lot less frustrating compared to the first few hours.

I've only been to 3 cities and all of them have felt semi unique but they feel solely as a backdrop with not many interesting routes or missions based at each one. Maybe that will change over time once you get to learn the roads a little. Either way I've been having fun with it :D

Cheers buddy! Will be on later tonight after work! Done a few coop missions but they felt really laggy for me.

Driving around the cities with other people is fun though! I followed someone in my skyline perf spec and flashed him! He slowed down till we were both at a stand still and had a chat before we decided we would race across town lol. Set off on the classic 3 beeps and go! Such great fun! Good rush!
 
Been playing it most of the day.

Enjoying it for what I wanted out of it, drives fairly fantastic, it's got that open road nfs I was after. They've created a brilliant world, towns feel alive, the open routes with sparse homesteads, motels, garages ect.. The twitch streams iv'e been watching really don't do it justice, the game look far better in the flesh 1920 all up.

The only gripes I have are the onscreen menus that spring up and need clearing when you're still trundling down a road at 150mph after challenges, not so easy with the hand on the wheel flying blind in to traffic. They could be placed in a different part of the screen, aka not dead middle center view. The challenge gates also seem hard to avoid, you slightly skim one and your signed up.. not so great.

My gears on the g25 I have.. me being thick I presume, but they map ok in the game, just don't work.

All fun in day one, 3 weeks off work, im hoping I get into the find/collect um up:)
 
So, Iv'e completed the game and got about 500k in money.

I want new cars but don't want to waste it all on lambo or Ferrari which on has perf/street spec.

What's the best car or cars that has at least 4 of the specs (Street/perf/raid/dirt/circuit)?

You mean your H shifter doesn't work? After you map it you need to change your gearbox type in game from Sequential to H pattern for it to work if you haven't already :).
 
Is it worth buying a steering wheel and pedals for this game? I'm using my PS3 controller with drivers downloaded off the web and works a treat! Using the analogue sticks ofc so I can calibrate them, still doesn't feel the same though.
 
If your into racers then it's worth getting one. Not even so much for it making things easier or getting faster times, just the feeling of playing with a proper force feedback wheel and pedals+shifters is 100 times nicer than using a pad any day!
 
Yeah I did all of that yesterday baha. Drove through it again for the sake of it, bang it's all working.

Foots on the other foot now, pardon the pun... finding it tough going, good job you can't blow the engine:)
