What's the benefit of the dampers being angled rather than almost vertical, is it just a space thing?

It uses push rod suspension so its just how they've oriented it to connect to the rocker assembly.

Not much good if you want a boot either. Main benefit is you can fit a bigger damper in. I’d argue there’s no significant unsprung mass benefit as you need to add a rocker.

I'm blind, I can't see them, looked many times!

On the floor just to left of exhaust on last pic

In fact scroll up a picture and you can see one attached to the chassis far right
It looks like they are using them to hold wires etc in place, I assume whilst the bumper isnt fitted so cables are probably not in end locations
